Southport attacker pleads guilty to murdering three girls | Sentenced to 52 years in prison

Some of the family of the murdered kids are in court today. The level of courage and resilience that takes is off the charts; I couldn't do it myself. They deserve so much praise and love.
Depending on what they want out of being there, they will feel cheated like he has the final say. I appreciate what the poster above says, but be it in restraints, bound and gagged or whatever they should be made to face their victims/victims families. Absolute monster this ****.

I agree.

He shouldn’t be allowed to disrupt the sentencing, and he shouldn’t have the option to remove himself.

I’m fed up of looking at the twisted evil cunts face plastered everywhere. I want to gouge his eyes out and twist his fucking head off. So fucking angry.

the reality is if someone is intent on disrupting the court they will-

we are expecting poorly paid people to potentially get hurt and also to be held to account for any injuries they cause to the defendant.

also, when someone claims chest pains-of course in 99% of the time they are lying (people like this spend their lives lying)..do you ignore it and risk your own career, liberty etc if it is an actual medical emergency?

I agree the defendant should be there for sentencing but should only be given one chance before they are returned to their cell and then the sentence can be increased accordingly.

Not sure why they feel the need to show people in the court the CCTV when he has already pled guilty.

I'll be very surprised if there isn't a "mistake" while he is in prison where his cell door is accidentally left open

Nobody would be prosecuted if he did get injured while being restrained.
