There were pictures of his bedroom and the lounge on the 10 o’clock news and there were deadly weapons lying about in both rooms when the police raided the house that belonged to him.Bearing in mind he lived with his parents who were aware of let’s say,… his mental state and problems with life, it needs to be questioned what was their role in all this and why didn’t they seek help.

I've not read all the thread but has this piece of shit ever tried to explain why he did it? There doesn't appear to be a political motive for example.
I've often felt like killing a few people, usually car thieves, but I had a reason. What possible motive could this **** have had? - And don't bother telling me nothing could possibly justify his actions as I'm well aware of that.

Maybe custodial sentences of a shorter nature..... maybe a mandatory 6 months if caught for a first offence possession? Then go multiple by x each time until five when its life?

Might send a clear message?

How many more young innocent children need to be stabbed to death before this Country takes control of this horrendous situation. Everyone has a part to play in bringing this to an end starting with parents making sure they are not carrying weapons or know of others carrying knifes at school or in general. Schools have to play their part when children arrive at school by using scanners when entering school and leaving. We have to start doing something drastic for their futures and families.
