Tbh mate I think after this trip I’ll be the same unless something dramatically changes, it’s become very expensive anyway, it’s a shame asi once thought I’d do the Amtrak coast to coast and try and tick a load off my bucket list, doubt that will ever happen now. Think my next big trip will be Japan with my daughter when she finishes her exams in 5 years.

yes, I'm aware that coal can be turned into gas.
But you do then need another industrial plant to do it, likely standing idle for most of the time.
Sounds like an expensive back-up to me.

Im surprised he hasn't decided to stick them in Alaska, Oil and Gas deposits on tap, with the cooling all sorted. Perfectly located to make as big an environmental catastrophe as possible.
