City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

I didn't say I agreed with it BTW although in my defence I am suffering a distinct lack of sleep due to the wife (and not in a good way). She then had me moving two sofas and everything else this morning to lay down an outsized rug. At least the weather has given me a good excuse to stay home, the bed is beckoning already.

It’s a long time the missus asked me to move the furniture around for some action…. It’s a long time full stop :(

Which may not exist anymore if the article linked in the previous one is correct. Every man for themselves?

After reading that his footnote should have been.
Why the hell did we allow the cartel to push and bully us into trying to destroy Manchester City and even allowing the cartel to put in their own man Masters to front it up.
More fool the 13 clubs outside the greedy cartel.

I’d say the charges are dropped but also the whole farce behind PSR will be gone giving teams the chance to spend..what other reason is there,oh unless we are guilty..

The cynic in me says United need to spend big to overhaul their squad, they have few sellable assets - so PSR is no longer a positive for the PL - it’s an issue for United -so it’ll be quietly dropped and it’ll be as you were… spend what you can borrow. I recall the original PL spending restrictions having a soft cap on increases to the wage bill, but when that became an issue for both United and Arsenal it was quietly dropped without a word being said!

Absolute nonsense. All City are doing is saying that part of the rules are illegal and are challenging that. How the fuck can that be damaging to City.
You have either misunderstood my sentiment, or you are a buffoon. I know that's what City are saying. But I don't believe the delays have been caused by the club, they have been manufactured by the Premier League and previously UEFA.

If you make such complex and serious allegations, it takes lots of time to have to form a defence, which is what we've done, only to then be accused of delay tactics. To add insult to injury, the prosecution are now taking their time in issuing a verdict, whilst all the time the media continue to blame us for the delays.

What I am saying is that, until the final verdict show's we're not officially guilty, the media will continue their free for all. And that most certainly is damaging to City's brand.

There are millions of potential fans and sponsors out there who likely believe the slander being dished out.

Until we are proven not guilty there is little to nothing we can do about it. It's very much in the clubs interest that this goes away asap.

You are confusing the APT case with the 115 case, I think.

And I think you`ve seriously misunderstood which thread you are on !!
This is about the legality of certain laws within the PL Constitution, which City disagree with.
How the fuck can we be found GUILTY when NO such accusations have been thrown at us in this case >>
FFS you buffoon.

Ahh, now I see what people are laughing at. Told you I needed sleep :(

Besides, I was knackered after moving the furniture anyway.

I might be in the same boat now sadly. When she had her mini stroke last September the first thing they did was take her off the HRT as it can cause strokes and is only recommended for 3 to 5 years I think. She'd been on it for 30 years too long according to them and I still don't know how to feel about that.

You the big man then hey? I'm big enough to admit I made a mistake, are you big enough to admit you're an aggressive prick?
I`m glad you`ve seen the error of your ways.
Now who was the first person to throw insults ? Certainly NOT me.
Get over it you soft prick. You see I`m only retorting to your aggressive words to myself.
If you cant stand the heat ...
