Andrea Cambiaso

Clocks still ticking. Nobody in, that can improve the team for Chelsea. Anyone of the regulars that plays today has to play on Wednesday. For gods sake put the money down.
 
I wonder if we’ve enquired about Locatelli. He struck me as a very good player a few years ago.

I think we can forget the idea of having any more signings ready to play until the window is over, meaning the current squad is what we have against Chelsea/Brugge/Arsenal. Even if we out of nowhere would reach a verbal agreement to sign someone in say 72 hours, it would still be another few days to sort out the paperwork, having the player take a plane here, doing a medical etc. Not to mention that any new signing would most likely need to have at least trained with the rest of the squad before playing any game. The best we can hope for is probably having any new reinforcements in place ahead of Leyton Orient.

No but Luiz is more similar to what we have - hence why the club would only want a loan with no obligation.

Cambiaso is really good. Luiz is awful he’s nowhere near the player he was even at Villa. Juve want rid, he’s invariably injured and when he isn’t his head has gone so no, he is even worse than what we have.

We lack mobility in midfield. Luiz doesn’t address that issue. What is amazing is that O’Reilly has size, pace and mobility. Why not stick him alongside Kovacic?

No. But if get beaten again tomorrow, the pressure increases on the team. Without the big Characters on the pitch in Ruben and Rods, any new guys are going to struggle settling in on the pitch, so a signing now is essential for Arsenal.
Dippers must be rubbing their hands.

Disagree. Liverpool finished 5th/3rd (granted were not at the end of the season yet) bought 3 starters and they are where they are…

We have issues at GK, RB, LB, CB, DM, AM and a load of wingers that don't score. We’re in much worse shape than they were imo!! But many wont admit it

Yep. That wasn’t my point though - it was that Pep was happy to play him out of position then, so why not play him out of position in a different role?

what the same liverpool that could potentially lose 3 of there most valuable players all for free in the summer
