State department halts all new aid funding after Trump order​

The state department has ordered a halt to funding for almost all aid programs, citing an executive order Donald Trump signed on Monday, the Associated Press reports.

Only aid to Israel and humanitarian food crises are excluded under the policy, with all other US aid programs told to keep running only until they exhaust the funding they currently have.

Is that saying they will still supply munitions to Israel who have already razed Gaza, but will stop aid to Ukraine who have been fighting on behalf of NATO?

Surely that can’t be the case?

I think he has 3 objectives:

- Stopping "woke" environment.
- Stopping illegal immigration
- Tariffs/Gloval Power. Which is basically a 3 way between US, Russia and China.

You left out the primary 2 objectives:
* Stay in power, no matter what
* Fleece the idiots who voted for him and everyone else as well

I agree with the staying in power. I think he we will try to change the constitution to make sure this term is not his last.
I do not believe he will try to fleece people inside the US. I think he is self infatuated and obsessed and believes in the principles he has set out.

I’m not sure the 3rd term is that significant. He’ll be 82 or so by the end of this term.
 
I don't believe it is fascism, it is possibly autocriticism. On the other side, democracy absolutely does not work in it's current format.
