Agree with everything you said except this: "He is NOT to blame for the draw."I'm Brazilian and what I've read most in comments among City fans are the demands on Savinho for goals. He knows this and has given interviews to the Brazilian press about his anxiety to score. His selfishness in today's game has a lot to do with these demands. Savinho had a great second half, he was involved in both goals, but for the fans he leaves the field as the one to blame for the draw. I have no doubt about Savinho's talent. I have known Savinho as a promising talent since he was 14 years old. In my opinion, technically (dribbling and crossing skills) he is superior to Vini Jr, although he is still less complete. Vini is faster and a better scorer. And many Brazilians think like me.
He is far down the list on who to blame... Highest on that list is Pep. Then there are many other players more at fault for specific reasons. But no need to name names. We win and lose as a team.
He was very good. A little selfish but still very good.
On the overall, while i understand his apprehension regarding scoring and contributing, I believe he'd soon find out he'll score way more goals if and when he learns to pass early and often. The ball will come back.
That said, we are mighty pleased with him so far and look forward to his continued development.
