Kick off time 20:00 (GMT).

Biggest game of the season, all of us there need to back them for 90mins, they'll need us. Need the atmosphere to be great for them.

Club Brugge kick off in 15mins but as it stands they're unbeaten in 19 games in all competitions, so this could be tough. Edit: Just checked and they drew, so 20 games unbeaten, with some decent results in the Champions League.

-----------------Ederson
Nunes--Stones--Dias--Gvardiol
---------------Say a prayer
----------Bernardo--KDB
Foden-------Haaland------Savinho

The midfield still worries the shit out of me. No defensive nous or legs.

As for the permutations, here they are:
- We have to win to go through. If we win we are through.
- If we win we will finish anywhere between 19th and 23rd. This is because we'd go above Brugge and Stuttgart play PSG, so we pass at least 1 of them 2 as well.

Not getting ahead of ourselves but putting the below information here to avoid any confusion:

Draw for the playoffs is Friday 31st Jan.

Draw Bracket is:
9th/10th v 23rd/24th winners play 7th/8th
11th/12th v 21st/22nd winners play 5th/6th
13th/14th v 19th/20th winners play 3rd/4th
15th/16th v 17th/18th winners play 1st/2nd

The bottom scenario isn't possible for us as 19th is the highest we can finish.

So if we finished 23rd, in the draw on the 31st January, we could face 9th or 10th.

My personal opinion is 21st/22nd is best for us, avoid 1st/2nd until the semis, just need to get lucky in the draw. Have to win first though!

Even before today I thought we'd come good and win this. Now I know we will.

Ederson; Nunes Akanji Stones Gvardiol; Kovacic Grealish KDB; Foden Haaland Savinho.

Start fast and blow them away. Our home record in Europe is scary good.

Not really many options, that kind of has to be the team if we are presuming no missing players return and hopefully no additional injuries before then.

Nobody can tell me that 11 cannot convincingly beat Brugge, pep just has to set us up correctly. we've got haaland and we've got runners, make use of them. They'll come to defend and hope to expose us on a break and then defend that goal even harder if they manage it.

upto us to make sure we break them down and don't concede first. If we take the lead the game changes, they then have to score as they'll be at risk of elimination without knowing other results, that should enable us to pick them off. Season defining, we usually show up when we reach that stage. A lot earlier than usual and not the situation we imagined but time to show up.

If we have a solid defence, ie stones plays, then I’ll be a lot more confident.

Energy energy and energy along with playing at a higher tempo, slowing it down and passing it about when it suits but not to just give teams time to get back into position..

Hope you get through but also I'm hoping you don't finish 19th as that means you'd probably play us and I'd prefer to avoid that!

Let's forget Wednesday. We're at home, we're hitting some kind of form and we're getting better every week. I honestly believe we can still achieve one last great thing with this core group. For some this is one last hurrah and a chance at a CL. Best Brugges, take a more than winnable playoff and keep fucking pushing. This team can still beat anybody on it's day. Let's get behind the fucking team.

Not often it’s a must win - but this one certainly is.

Will be an entertaining game. Stones in defence, Savinho out wide and Kev in the side. Think we will outscore Brugge.

Expecting Madrid or Bayern to be in the mix for the playoffs.

I wonder how up for this Brugge will be
They are more or less through to the play off and looking at the the at the able at moment the lower you are the better chance you have of going through.
