Nunez had a decent game considering it's not his normal position. If he could stop freezing when he's in space in the area he'd be pretty decent. Get the cross/shot in!

Three things:

1) Needs to stop overcommitting, especially 60 yards from the goal when he’s on the back line.

2) His heading is very poor for a big, tall lad.

3) His distribution is often poor and results in loss of possession.

3.5) Should cross the ball first time when it’s sitting nicely for his right foot. Too often, he tries a cut and beats himself.
 
Much better 2nd half but Chelsea are in poor form and we were very lucky not to go 2 down early on. Looked much better with the pace of Marmoush up front but still issues with a severe lack of pace/energy/creativity in midfield. Hopefully can keep Stones fit now but still think we will struggle if we fail To address the midfield issue in this window.
 
Anyone know how I can watch the highlights.
Tried youtube all i can find is some cobbled together shite with fake fans in back ground
 
So, so, so, so, so much better that. It was like a back to basics performance.

Full backs providing width and runs in behind, midfielders running with actually with a bit of cohesion and organisation about them, attackers working together and feeding off one another, centre halves doing well (after minute 3) and the keeper being back to his brilliant best. Mint to watch.

Gundo, Kovacic and Bernie all worked their socks off but it seemed like a genuine press rather than headless chickens.

Thought Khusanov played well after the first couple of minutes. Looks very assured and authoritative in how he plays. Moves the ball quickly and forward too. Loved seeing how quick he got to his man and how tight he was, never let them turn him which has been a big issue all season. That bodying of Jackson was beautiful.

Marmoush obviously showing signs. Worked hard too. Positive signs.

Nunes and Gvardiol both absolutely mustard. Attacking and defending. First goal was the right back having a 1v1 and the left back following in on the rebound. Both fantastic.

And Big Erl. Absolutely mint. His all round game has been brilliant the past few weeks but today felt like an Arsenal 22/23 game. Linking up play, bullying defenders, scoring chances, working hard.

No bad body language at all from any of them today.

Get in. Loved it.
 
Unexpected result as far as I’m concerned but we played really well in spells. Loved a bit of variation in our approach, in specific firing it long to Erling. He only needs to get hold of a couple and we’re off. They’re the type of balls he came here for.

Felt sorry for kushanov, mistakes happen and I’m sure he’s already learned from it. If I can have a little whinge, the other, more senior members of our defence should have kept the ball away from him for a couple of minutes after the goal and let him calm his nerves again. He was already in the deep end but they let pressure find him a couple of times and he gave the ball away and got booked. Big credit to the lad though he kept going and grew into the game.

Marmoush will be a player. Looked sharp, keen and has a bit of a swagger about him.

We need to make this count now, every game please, blues.
