It seems it's now fair game in the press to go in hard on a 19 year old debutant who has had one training session and can't speak English . Both reports , in this apology for a sports section , spend more time piling in on him than anything else . Why not talk about a truly limp performance from Chelsea (where Palmer goes MIA) and their car crash recent form or City's switch from possession based football to improvisation and route one .

Appalling and brutal approach. Let's hope the dressing room uses it .

Such is the state of our British media these days, people like Ducker won't care if you think he's a ****.

He doesn't care if you like what he wrote or if you hate it. He just wants people reading it, sharing it and talking about it.

If you're on twitter, just block him and the telegraph.

Apparently the presenter wasn’t blameless though too either, the way he led Sherwood into the comments, making insinuations about us.

The Club should write to Sky asap Monday morning and put down a marker about this sort of shite in any future broadcasts.
I’d also expect/hope for the presenter to get a written warning or whatever too.

Clearly, he will be starting Stones on Wednesday which, having watched the game back on Sky, none of the ‘pundits’ seemed to have the first clue about. Rednapp (ex Dipper, obviously for a City v Chelsea game), whose other job is telling people on tv that he can’t tie shoe laces and, for ‘balance’, Gary Cahill (ex Chelsea) both saying it was a mistake playing him without anyone even hinting at Wednesday and player availability in the CL.
Once they’d interviewed Pep, Cahill seemed to vaguely understand but Rednapp clearly had got less of a clue than usual. Muppets.

As someone above has said, Ducker no doubt doesn't care. Still, James, we know what you are, and any vestige of self-respect that you cling to is a product of grotesque delusion.

Didn't wanna click the link but i assume it refers to today's game and the current table. What the fuck is extraordinary about beating a team in the relegation zone and being 6 points clear in January.
