We will need a new holding midfield player in the next few days to face whoever in the playoff

Quite the same issues , pressing is not good enough and silly mistakes in defending...psg just showed all our weak spots..pressed us high and hard and ran through us like nothing.

Obviously a game of 2 halves……but when the team was announced I (and I expect most people) feared the worst with the midfield and lack of energy etc.

That ageing middle has failed to work all season….why would it work tonight.

Although he didn’t have one of his best games…Foden gave us so much more in the middle in the second half.

Thought Nunes was poor again..absolutely no football intelligence and got done for their goal once again.

Just before we got our second there was some absolutely awful defending by Akanji, where he backed off from near to the half way line right up to our own penalty box and invited their striker to shoot which from where I was sat, had Ederson beaten and ended up inches wide.

When everyone is fit the only place for Akanji is right back….he’s simply not good enough in the middle.

The key to the rest of the season is keeping Stones fit and getting Dias back.

Same midfield still and no rb if things stay the same...dont think psg is definetly better than either of those teams..ofc we have a chance ,but need to improve our game quite a lot and cut out silly mistakes.
