You want to kill us right ?Eddie
Rico Stones Akanji Gvardiol
Kovacic KDB Foden
Bernardo Haaland Savinho
Agree kev can't start.the stay humble, eh? game lol
Haaland better fucking puts in a big performance and not getting lost in the pocket of Gabriel and Saliba. Marmoush should start to help him.
with the pressure they put on Oliver for the red card, ref in this one thinks 5 times to give them a red even if well deserved.
midfield again big question,Rice, Merino, Odegaard can move the ball quick and have energy as well and their fullbacks can join in too.
Gundo and Kovacic need brutal performance to get hold of the midfield and Bernardo as well need to be used centrally not hanging out the wing.
imo KDB cannot start.
Arteta needs a win to keep up with the dippers, but he isnt risking much usually. of course watch for set pieces, as they can hurt any team with those.
No KDB? You’d play Nunes in midfield ahead of him?Ederson
Khusanov Stones Akanji
Nunes Kovacic Bernardo Gvardiol
Foden Marmoush
Haaland
Ederson
Nunes Stones Akanji Gvardiol
KDB Kova Bernardo Foden
Haaland Marmoush
Kev is going to stay home and save some energy by not pressing like a rabbit and just concentrating on sliding through balls into the path of Haaland and Marmoush, or crossing them from the corner of the box. That's a bit too open, as Kevin isn't a proper midfielder these days. Trying to fit all of Haaland, Marmoush, Foden and Kevin can work vs Ipswich, but, IMO, vs Arsenal away we have to be more solid.
Square peg. Round hole.We cannot play Nunes at right back so we need to find a solution to that.

If we play this 4-4-2, we can even transition to a “2-2-2-2,” allowing both FBs the freedom of their respective wings, and setting up a 4 across whichever line we need at the time
(4-2-2-2/2-4-2-2/2-2-4-2/2-2-2-4)
In addition, by having both KDB & Foden in midfield, it allows each of them to play just behind the strikers in that 2-4-2-2 set up, while not leaving the back door wide open.
Anyway, it’s going to be a very interesting game and hopefully a well deserved victory for the Boys in Blue! I fancy Marmoush to make a statement, possibly being fed in by Kev or Phil!
