General transfer rumours

Duran going to Saudi is a massive coup for the Saudis if they can pull it off. There is an argument he's young enough to bank his millions and then come back and play in a major European league but if that's his aim then it's a massive gamble for him?

No it's a player more worried about earning $$$$$ than thinking about his career.

He is an idiot but the sums involved would make any player have a very difficult decision to make.

Duran doesn’t seem to have much between his ears. He’s a Juande Carroll clone.

All action and energy. Shoots from anywhere and occasionally scores a worldie.

He’s also unpredictable and the red mist descends from time to time.

£75m for him is absolutely crazy money.

100% agree and I would think Villa can't believe their luck if this comes off.

A maverick player who has had a few decent games and scored a few vital goals but 75m LOL

No rumour and probably been discussed but rogers looks like another that’s slipped through the net; testament to the standard of kids spawned from the academy, it’s reminiscent of Barca at its peak and the levels they’re playing at….

Others missed I’m sure; we know the figures attached and hand forced in some instances but the ignorance of what our system has done for a decade is absurd…

Merely pointing out to the rogers one after last night, there will be more, but he’s exactly the type of player we are lacking, similar to Foden and potential to be on a par, he’s a little nastier than Phil in the tackle which we are also lacking…

Anyway, timing for the majority of that lot never synced due to the world class operators we already had, so never aligned, but it’s going to come full circle and hit us in the pocket, despite the revenue recouped!

Palmer and Rodger's wouldn't be the players they are if we kept them sometimes a change of scenery a different manager changes the mentality of a player...
