Great news for the Co-op arena and Etihad Campus if true. It is a logical move for CFG. It already happens at a lot of huge European football clubs across the world. City would be able to sell joint football/basketball sponsorship deals as well as joint corporate deals for music/football and other events.
Guaranteed day time use of the CO-OP on a regular basis. No idea if numbers etc

More revenue to offset whatever "fair play" rules they put in next to try and hinder us is all good by me.

Don’t agree

I think u need to listen to the speech again ? She definitely said that funding for the stadium would not be coming from the government, sorry if I offended u with the reference ‘pal ‘
No offence taken, just unnecessary aggressive passive stuff. I've already provided you with a transcript of her speech - here is the reference to OT in the video 38 mins30 secs in, just point out the 'no funding of the stadium' bit - I must have missed it.

If taken in isolation that seems a plausible defence but in the context of BBC's coverage of our club for a decade under Roan et al that intro/outro in reality just reinforces their relentless anti-City narratives while uncritically pumping out dipper propaganda ad nauseam. Such a shame the rags aren't in the frame for them to feed lies about us to that sad part of their mass redshirt audience too. I have the impression you may be connected in some direct way to our national broadcaster and if so please tell us how the sort of biased straplines on today's football webpages can be justified?
I've no doubt bias and propaganda exists, I just don't think last night's BBC show was an example of it. Try watching/listening to TNT and BT before them.

I didn't comment beyond the scope of that programme but, as for those web articles you've highlighted, you'll struggle to find any other media outlet that isn't reporting last night's events in a similar manner. City were losing at half time, scraped through to the play-offs on goal difference and ended-up with a tough draw. Liverpool finished top of the league stage. I'm not sure how/why that would be reported differently?

For me, omitting Marmoush's offside goal in the Chelsea match during Match Of The Day on Saturday - presumably to allow more time for highlighting Khusanov's woes - was far more annoying by BBC than anything last night/today.

I'm relieved you recognise it too. We'll agree to differ on the CL show bookends & webpage straplines then but as you say - editing out our debutant striker's highlights to dwell on the other's mistake is pretty much true to form.

I must be going a bit daft.
I thought they showed it in the discussion after as I recall them saying that he was very fast in his reaction but should have left it for Bernardo.
Maybe it was on another highlights programme

I noted the pitch side pundits for the Spuds game were; Hoddle and Crouch, as I’d expect for a Spuds game in Europe.

I presume there were no ex-city players doing the rags game?
What's happened to Owen Hargreaves ?
Is he still appearing on TNT ?
City face him a 2nd chance after that lot gave him the elbow.
Not sure if he is fair about City ?
I'm not asking for a City fanboy like Dippy Dion salivating over anything Rag (didn't he call Ten Bob - Gaffer ???).
Just want a fair assessment and opinion that doesn't pander to the Red Arse cheek teams e.g. Pat Nevin...

Typical sort of snidey dig by the BBC (the last sentence). I mean, why would anyone even say this unless there is some dislike towards either the club or Haaland. Pathetic

He (Chris Sutton)told BBC Sport: “This is a huge game for the Gunners – in the past couple of seasons it has been a title decider when they’ve played Manchester City but this time only Arsenal’s title hopes are on the line.

"City have improved of late but I still look at them and think they are going to concede a goal, as Club Brugge showed on Wednesday. It was a great game when these two met earlier in the season and Leandro Trossard was sent off in a 2-2 draw.

"The readers will probably go for a 1-1 draw this time, I reckon, but I am going to pick a winner. It is the Gunners who I see taking this, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a set-piece proves crucial. Let’s hope City striker Erling Haaland can ‘stay humble’ if his team do end up being beaten.”

Sutton told what to add there by Salford rag media
