I hope we don’t get more injuries but even if we don’t I agree we have to get at least a midfielder in and ideally a right back.

When you look at how well run the club is, how Pep can see things in matches that even players don’t notice, it seems inconceivable that we think we’ll do ok with what we have.

One look at the next few fixtures tells us our slow as fuck over 30s are going to struggle to control the midfield. And Nunes isn’t a RB. The club must see that and surely can’t accept missing out on a CL spot and winning nothing.

He’s only 23, so this would typically be one of those players that they sign relatively cheap when they’re young and sell them for 50m+ a year or two later. As he’s an outright DM and not a CM he would only be a backup for Rodri when he returns anyways. Can only assume this fella would be one of multiple midfield signings, with this one being one of the lower profile ones. Doesn’t sound like it will happen this window though

If we don't get anyone then Khusanov should play RB as he's a better defender than Nuñes and the latter should play in midfield as at least he's got legs.
