We should be saying to the Rags, you aren’t out rivals, Real Madrid is our biggest game ;)
According to Iker Cassillas, who obviously hasn’t been given the memo that nobody cares about City, we are Real Madrid's main rivals these days.

From the Guardian..

When it is suggested that such jeopardy is already challenged, with Manchester City champions for the past four seasons and all three promoted clubs in danger of being relegated – just as they were last season – despite a net transfer spend of about £230m between them, Masters does not buy the analysis.

Taken from a long article about Masters day job supporting "Community stuff".

They couldn't miss a chance to try to get a kick in the bollocks, against us...

Wankers the lot of them.
It's the Guardian.
Wouldn't wipe my arse with it.

It's an absolute travesty of a publication.
A dog whistle for the dull and stupid.

Ambitions to have a mixed use neighbourhood of apartment blocks, shopping centres and new public transport stations.

There’s already shit loads of apartment blocks going up, they’ve knocked down and rebuilt White City Retail park, there’s the Lowry Centre and the Trafford centre further down. They opened up the new metro link line to the Trafford centre that gives the swamp two tram stations to access the ground as apposed to the one at the Etihad. What else do they need to spend public money on amenities that are already there and have been built within the last ten years?

Football finance & politics mirrors the nations & the Rags & the UK more so. Both living on pasts & picking strategies from a list of bad ideas & the media never giving the right commentary. Neither has a pot to puss in.

The UK has a debt of above 100% of GDP & repayments have tripled in the last 3 years & if interest rates rise they’ll be forced to another budget.

They are making announcements like this on days the other beneficiaries of North Sea oil, Norway announce results of 13% return on their sovereign wealth fund.
Britain is broken beyond repair.

If you thinks it's a shithole full of the trash of the world now just project forward in 20 year increments.

The future looks horrendous !!

We might be just ahead of the curve by 100 years because so called experts say once population reaches around 8.5/9 billion people it will dropped rapidly! The birth rate now is down where if no one came to this country it will reduce the population fast! Just at moment the numbers are just to high for country to settle cope..

They are very well provided with tram stops - OT cricket ground (Altrincham-Mcr etc), Wharfside, IWM (Mcr-Traffic Centre), Media City, Exchange Quay (Mcr-Eccles) they would love an underground from Pic Station but will probably settle for a 4 platform railway station that can shift 4+ trains say every 15 minutes with 2,500+ people a time back to the city centre.
In terms of building offices & flats Landsec will probably accelerate their plans for Media City (3000+ homes and 800k sq ft commercial) - so what will Trafford & Utd be trying to go for - I can't see them quickly building so many homes that it will bring prices down say 20% and making it easier for first time buyers and if the big rental providers they will only do what is necessary to effect a big enough return on investment to satisfy their shareholders/lenders. Attraction wise - could they get a version of the Guggenheim? The Trafford Centre seem to be covering lots of leisure bases (Ski, Therm, Wave etc)
Pressure should be put on Burham by the Club and Council to not only match any transport infrastructure agreed to go there but to actually complete it before they start in Trafford - many a weekend we will have more people on our campus than theirs!
