Stones has been really excellent in the last 2 games. I think that's a good call. His pass to Savinho and the 3rd goal was the moment of the match vs Brugge so he's certainly got the skills to play there or to step up into midfield.
What an absolute peach of a pin point perfect pass that was. We have really been missing passing accuracy this season. More of that from Jonny providing he stays fit. Rolls Royce.

Win this and Arsenal will melt both on and off the pitch.
Would be hilarious to see us only 3 points behind them given our form before Xmas.

Might also give the dippers something to think about.

Oh Peps on fire in this presser. Put Slimy in his place about tough fixture congestion. Well done Pep.

Said same as me that games v Real are becoming like a Derby game - we meet them that much.

I suspect the dippers would love us to beat them to be honest

Ederson
Akanji Khusanov Gvardiol
Stones Kovačić
Bernardo Foden Marmoush Savinho
Haaland

Possibly KDB instead of Marmoush

Stones dropping into CB without the ball, and Foden tasked with tracking back and helping Kova. Bernardo and Savinho also need to be willing to help out the fullbacks when defending.

Bringing on Marmoush during 2nd half to finish the game off. Confident with this one. 3-1 City

Bournemouth v Liverpool this weekend too; let's hope it gets very interesting.
Bournemouth are playing cracking football this season and especially in recent weeks they've hit their best form so hopefully that continues today, Should be a good game.

Fingers crossed we get our job done, Beating Chelsea at home, Beating Brugge to qualify and "a win at Arsenal" would be a massive confidence boost for the players going into these tough fixtures.

Selection and set-up must be courageous from Pep.
No Gundo. Let him come on for last 10 minutes when we are defending a lead.
Need to attack them to death. Marmoush needs to play, and Sav.
Bringing Gundo on late in recent weeks hasn't gone to plan unfortunately, Brentford away and PSG away spring to mind, I love Gundogan to bits but he's a hard watch as his legs have gone, I think we'd see a different Gundogan if we had a natural holding midfielder in the team to play alongside him.

Agreed on Savinho and Marmoush they both have to start along with Phil, Best form of defence is attack for us.
