Thanks couldn't be bothered doing that myself, was thinking more next season are you missing Echeverri though, presuming he stays .That's not quite correct, 25 players can be in the squad UEFA A list, currently 26 are listed overall with 5 on the B list.
So 21 currently on the A list above which includes Walker & Esbrand who have now departed - that leaves 19 filled places (one of whom is Rodri) of which 14 are on the permitted on the A list to which I have added Marmoush to make 15.Man City | Squad | UEFA Champions League 2025/26

(Next season Bobb (replacing Esbrand) will join Foden & McAtee in the club trained over-21 element, the association trained one is full with Stones, Grealish, Ake & Carson but this does not affect the above.)
- STEFAN ORTEGA MORENO 18
- EDERSON MORAES 31
- RÚBEN DIAS 3
- JOŠKO GVARDIOL 24
- MANUEL AKANJI25
- RODRIGO HERNANDEZ 16
- MATEO KOVAČIĆ 8
- KEVIN DE BRUYNE 17
- İLKAY GÜNDOĞAN 19
- BERNARDO SILVA 20
- MATHEUS NUNES 27
- JÉRÉMY DOKU 11
- SAVINHO 26
- OMAR MARMOUSH 7
- ERLING HAALAND 9
- VACANCY - GONZALEZ or REIS?
- VACANCY -CAMBIASO or KHUSANOV?
Good. Dont think he is that good personally. And would rather get a better RB like Livramento or Vanderson anyway. We won't be getting any more this window, mark my words. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Cambiaso has expressed no desire whatsoever to leave Juventus.
Oh no! He's going to be an option too when he's finished at the U-20 the but currently only 19 like Lewis (who I also forgot) and remains on the B list next season. Happy to be bothered though. Thanks couldn't be bothered doing that myself, was thinking more next season are you missing Echeverri though, presuming he stays .
never rated that ragGood. Dont think he is that good personally. And would rather get a better RB like Livramento or Vanderson anyway.

Livramento would be a great signing.Good. Dont think he is that good personally. And would rather get a better RB like Livramento or Vanderson anyway.
I think we'll definitely go for a top-class De Bruyne replacement in the summer, especially since a lot of players will be leaving. I expect Grealish and Gündogan to go for sure, so I believe we'll sign minimum two elite attacking midfielders, which will be very expensive. That's why it's good that we're doing it this way - signing the other players now in winter so we can fully focus on them in the summer. If we get Gonzalez, and Cambiaso this window, I think for incoming the summer will be fairly quiet probably an AM and possibly a keepr. Be fairly busy outgoings though.
The issue with Doku is not ability, he has that in droves but I am not sure he is the brightest in terms of football intelligence. I get the feeling Pep has huge doubts about him other than games against lesser sides. The only one I disagree with is Doku -i think he has shown he is good enough - he gives us something different and has real quality - he can finish he can beat his man and he can assist...he is young and still developing but I think he is a top quality squad player that doesnt always need to start but you always get 100% from and has a great attitude and bags of ability
Walker -gone - it was a good decision for all parties
Gundo - not sure he should have come back but hindsight is a wonderful thing - but he now needs to go or risk tarnishing his legacy.
Kova - a good solid signing - maybe another year but if we can get replacements then agree he can go
Ederson - seems to be an attitude thing with him....he can still perform at the highest level I have no doubt BUT mentally he looks like he is elsewhere...it will be because he wants to leave but if he had a change of attitude Id happily see him stay - otherwise yes he needs to go
KDB - if he signs an extension its sentiment driving this - he will be top earner - keeping him stops us progressing at this point and we wont be able to bring in his replacement....I personally think KDB should be let go at the end of the season - he leaves a legend and probably the best midfielder to ever grace the prem league and goes to earn generational wealth in Saudi.....win win for all concerned.
Ake and Stones- both fantastic performers - but both have always been injury prone.....such a shame with Stones especially as you can see he fits that number 6 role really well - its an unknown on these two as its all down to fitness
Oh no! He's going to be an option too when he's finished at the U-20 the but currently only 19 like Lewis (who I also forgot) and remains on the B list next season. Happy to be bothered though.
Agree on Ederson KDB an GundoThe issue with Doku is not ability, he has that in droves but I am not sure he is the brightest in terms of football intelligence. I get the feeling Pep has huge doubts about him other than games against lesser sides.
I would love to keep Ederson and to replace him with his skill set is almost impossible but the offer from Saudi has clearly affected him and with I am not sure any of us have the right to say he would be wrong to go and earn 300/400k a week and go into semi retirement, he has already won the lot.
KDB has to go for me, leave with the crown wanting more and we have seen from Gundogan romantic decisions simply don't work
The one major flaw holding Doku back is his defensive side. He's nearly as crap as Martin Petrov in that respect, BUT it's something that can be coached into him.Agree on Ederson KDB an Gundo
I think Doku does have it intelligence wise - he adapted pretty damn quick to what Pep wants (look at him compared to Mahrez who took ages to get regular game time) and he has shown through his play - he has scored and assisted way more that Grealish for example who (for reasons I just dont agree with is lauded by many on here - yes he holds width, yes he helps control posession but that is literally about it other than buying fouls here and there) and he is learning the positonal play and defensive side of the game....difference is he takes risks and chances so he is going to give the ball away - that for me aint about his intelligence - its about his style of play - I guess theonly thing would be picking his time to take someone on or not - which for me he is doing as he is taking people on less and it must be for that reason.
Agreed - when closing down he doesnt make his runs at the right angle to cut off the obvious outball(s). He also as you say doesnt track his runner but Im seeeing him try to do this as opposed to not doing it at all when he first arrived. The one major flaw holding Doku back is his defensive side. Aside from that, he's a brilliant player for his age, & I reckon with concerted defensive coaching (eg: defending from the front & tracking players when being attacked), he'll become a key player for City for seasons to come.
With Doku, Savvy, Bobb & now Moose, we're building something special in attack. The player who just doesn't fit in there is Grealish. If Pep can't find a central berth for him when we're this desperate, it doesn't look good for Jack in the short-term, never mind the long-term.
In his last few appearances, he's definitely trying harder to defend, but he still has a way to go. If he could defend the left side as well as Grealish, Jack would be done at City.Agreed - when closing down he doesnt make his runs at the right angle to cut off the obvious outball(s). He also as you say doesnt track his runner but Im seeeing him try to do this as opposed to not doing it at all when he first arrived.
He's just never on the pitch to apply it. If he's never gonna be available he can go imo.The one major flaw holding Doku back is his defensive side. He's nearly as crap as Martin Petrov in that respect, BUT it's something that can be coached into him.

I’m expecting this to be sorted by monday
I'm seriously gutted about Jack. I stuck up for him when many others were pissed we'd spent £100m to get him. He repaid my faith during our treble season & then promptly threw it back in my face with his end of treble season antics. He's just never on the pitch to apply it. i meant Doku's fitness, but Jack too.I'm seriously gutted about Jack. I stuck up for him when many others were pissed we'd spent £100m to get him. He repaid my faith during our treble season & then promptly threw it back in my face with his end of treble season antics.
As I feared then, Grealish has never been consistently close to being the same player for us again. He doesn't fit in with the profile of wide player we have, so if Pep can't utilise him centrally, of what use is he to us?
It's sad, but totally self inflicted by Jack imo.
You just have to see who posted it"it has been reported that Cambiaso has expressed no desire whatsoever to leave Juventus."
Bullshit, he clearly wants the move or we would have moved on, this is very much game on.

Man City in new Andrea Cambiaso talks - star 'very keen to move' - Football Insider
Man City have held renewed talks with Juventus in their efforts to sign Andrea Cambiaso, sources have told Football Insider. Speaking on the latest edition...www.footballinsider247.com
I became aware of Doku's injury history when we were in for him, but we've bought several players with dubious injury records & managed to overcome them.i meant Doku's fitness, but Jack too.
I thought he might but doesnt look like it. Glass Cannon for relegation fodder right now, the kids can do that.I became aware of Doku's injury history when we were in for him, but we've bought several players with dubious injury records & managed to overcome them.
I recall Doku speaking about this when he first arrived, & also voices at City saying they believed it was something caused by his explosive nature that he'd his body would adapt to.
