Perhaps Pep could tell Foden that he doesn’t have to pass the ball back to where it came from every single time he gets it?

Foden should be docked wages for every pass to Nunes or Akanji as that’s the move over.

Terrible start, but we've grown into the game and looked pretty decent in spells. No reason we can't get something out of this if we step it up in the second half.

A fair assessment. Cock-ups aside, I think we’ve been the better team overall IMO. I’m surprised how much of the ball we’re seeing to be honest. We could easily go and get something out of the game but our ongoing fragility is a worry second half.

If we at least tried to mix it up a bit and try to find Marmoush or Haaland with a long-ish ball when they make their runs I'd be a lot fucking happier.

Arsenal won’t fall for that this season he’s turned them into an ultra defensive minded team. Hence the reason they won’t win it.

To me, this was always a game to get out of the way. Any potential points would be a huge bonus.

So the fact that we're playing well and rattling them at all is encouraging.

Shocking mistake by Akanji but overall we've done quite well IMO. Not created too much but neither have they.

Would like to see Nunes actually try and cross the ball sometimes. often in lots of space out wide but seems unwillingly to take the risk. Marmoush and Foden also need to be a bit more active.

Otherwise it's been ok. Not out our best by a long way but not our worst too.

Plenty left in this game for us if we can be a bit braver going forward and take a few chances.

It was a bad error but the ball to him did him no favors.

At the risk of being drawn and quartered, I'd rather the Scouse win it than Arsenal.
Something about Arsenal, their fans and general attitude in the last few years makes my blood boil even more than the bin dippers do.

I live down South and for some strange reason Spurs fans are the most self entitled bunch of twats you can possibly meet (although Arsenal fans are wankers)
