Seems that however difficult it may be to undo a career's worth of instinct, at some point a professional footballer should understand not to attempt a 15 yard give-and-go in the middle of the field when they're tasked with holding the middle of the field. He's clearly not made for it but the problem with him seems more so between the ears than a physical deficit.
