Arsenal (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

It wont carry into next season he will have plans to move a different way it amazes me that one manager who has done it all aint allowed the one off season .............i bet you go back through the history of the game and every great manager who ever lived had the odd off season ...........still no doubt the media will go after him they will lord over Arteta and guess what come the end of the season Arteta will have failed yet again and that in a nutshell is the issue with the media in this country
Well said

Kova is great for what we paid, probably having to do more than what was expected though.

The other 2, fucking embarrassing.

I actually prefer Philips to Nunes though, and that is saying something.
Kovacic is shite mate. Look at how fucking vulnerable we are with him in the key role. Fucker can’t run or tackle.

it’s blatantly obvious where the blame lies. We should have refreshed the squad, but we have sleepwalked through the last few transfer windows.

I don’t think Pep’s contract situation has helped, and the 115 charges may have held us back making big signings.

Arsenal have won fuck all, and they weren’t even at their best today. They took the piss out of all, blatantly took the piss, and not one of our players reacted.

Happened numerous times this year.

If you’re happy watching that shit today, and don’t question why a team with our resources continues to disintegrate at the slightest little setback, then good luck to you. In fact I’m slightly envious of you.

Another silly rant that doesn’t actually say anything.

My point was they are not “utterly mediocre”.

Judging by the CL table they’re currently the 3rd best side in Europe.

I actually don’t think Kovacic played badly today. I thought stones was a 2, Nunes was just as Nunes is, akanji I just as bad as it gets and Ortega looks like a bang average back up keeper.
Akanji has been a steady eddy for us but the last couple of months has been a bomb scare. Playing when not 100% maybe to help us out like Laporte famously did back in the day.

I saw and posted similar. Obviously a lot going on. He should be allowed some ' compassionate' leave and let Lilo take over for a few months. Hard to work, concentrate and make reasoned decisions when your personal life is traumatic. No judgement on anyone here, it is what it is. But it's clearly affecting the team.
Just because Henry says it, it isn’t necessarily true they have been living apart for two years or more. I also think Henry is totally out of order to bring Pep’s personal life into football analysis and I’ve lost respect for Henry for it I doubt he has a clue what is happening in his personal life and Pep and his wife’s friends have not been spouting off in public so neither should Henry

Well he’s a self confessed Arsenal fan who a couple of seasons ago said he would rather see Arsenal win the title.

I actually don't care about that. If I were a subscriber to Sky, I'd be livid about the fact that I'm paying for a guy who literally has nothing interesting to say. He's not the only one, but he gets towards Michael Owen for sheer vacuousness (nobody could overtake Michael Owen…).
