Maybe they do the Cambiaso deal in the summer. Still don't understand not signing Frimpong given the price and the the space given to the right fullback when City has possession.

How many times does Nunes get it and look hesitant about playing forward or passing back? That's not a criticism of him. But the difference would be stark with someone properly attacking from there and wouldn't give up much in defense the way Nunes is in that spot.
I honestly think even if we bring a midfielder in tomorrow, the RB spot is equally as big an issue for the rest of the season. I just can't see who else goes there. I'm not as big a Rico basher as some on here, but he definitely needs protecting from himself at the moment. Akanji has done it but is having comfortably the worst season he's had with us, and then there is Nunes who can't do it. Big worry for me for the next 4 months

He will only have Vinicius and possibly Diaz to name two up against him soon. The lad will be a complete wreck and it's not his fault. To not have a recognised right back in this squad is criminal as we must've known Walker was leaving weeks ago. Crap planning in the transfer market

Refused entry because my ticket had somehow been duplicated
Missed their 1st goal whilst trying to find a pub then saw our equaliser and their 2nd and 3rd.

Left the pub at 1-3 and sat on the coach as the noise from the stadium suggested that Arsenal had got a 4th and 5th

Shite day and I believe a shite performance
Ok, you win for shit day.

It’s been Groundhog Day a few times recently. Up to when we capitulate, we’ve still been playing some good football. As soon as we concede if it’s in the second half in particular, we go to pot.

Ortega not remotely good enough, pure panic on his face all game. Akanji, a disaster waiting to happen in every game
Nunes not a right back. JG bought because hes a quality center half no let's play him at left back and not have any full backs. Then let's run Bernado into the ground because thats Pep's style.
I can see us rushing Rodders back and then see him get another bad injury.
People on BM have been writing about the need to strengthen our squad for the last 4 year's in some key areas. It would appear that they were right and the club was wrong.

You know sometimes I really do have to laugh…..I know feelings are running high but….
Last week we played Brugge and John Stones was voted 3rd (I think) in MOTM.
The praise was coming right left and centre. Now today some of the posts are laughable and for the fan who offered me a cage fight. Oh sunshine you have got a rude awakening coming.
I may be an 83 yr old woman who isn’t that mobile these days but my vocabulary is and my teacher stare hasn’t faded!!

Bring it on love, bring it on. :-) ;-)

Nah. He knows that until we get some more new players in and make some pretty big changes this is going to keep on happening.
F*CK new players - bring a decent defensive coach in! Even if we amazingly, suddenly, learn how to utilise Erling, Phil, Mouchie etc properly, it will matter not a jot as long as we're laying out the welcome mat to every Tom, Dick & Harry running at us with the ball.

O'Reilly worth a go. Excellent against Salford (I know!), but what is there to lose at this stage?, even if the lad is a midfielder.

thats what you get when the club captain walks out
nunes try's but half the time he's furthest forward on wing

Bit of a conundrum, which one to hope win the Prem.,assuming it's not us or second choice Forest.
Arse ,Legoman and the arsettes, or Splott and the ferals.
At least the ferals won't have Dick and Salad, next season ,so perhaps them.
Just going to soak my hands in Swarfega after putting that in print.

If we are serious about winning something this season then we would sign a CM & RB.

Seems like our transfer policy is all about net spend and ‘clever’ deals now. Hoping gambles pay off on some players and spunking insane amounts on others like Nunes Phillips, while letting talent leave.
