No one knows who blinked or whatever and it doesn’t matter. It’s the volatility and unpredictability that matters. I laughed out loud when I saw he pulled the tariffs. No one should be relieved or claim victory or defeat. He’s going to keep pulling stupid shit like this day by day on a wealth of issues. It’s like the boy who cries wolf, not even a bully.

The tariff threat to Mexico has resulted in him getting 10,000 troops to the border to prevent further illegal migration, obviously I detest Trump but I can see how that can be viewed as a positive.

It worked though. It seems that beneath all the bluster Mexico and the US have reached a mutually beneficial compromise. Doesn't look as hopeful with Canada, but the markets seem to be steadying for now at least.

I think it has to be. The immigrants issue is one thing, but this should help to disrupt the narcotics/guns traffic.

Mexico get a benefit that is reduction on Tariffs because they're deploying 10,000 armed forces to the border to help with the fight against emigration to the USA.

Great when a politician says he'll do something and then has the audacity to actually take action.... guess we're just not used to politicians delivering on promises... even though we may disagree, though the majority of the US don't. That's democracy for yer.
