Arsenal (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

why is that video dubbed with music about North London forever when they were formed South of the river. As Spurs fans will tell you 'fuck off back o South London'
Wot eva the weva… illiterate cunts

Are our players fit?

I do not buy that they are not fit enough at this stage of the season, Yes the start of the season and into autumn was a struggle but only Rodri and Bobb was long-term injuries the rest just had niggles and knocks,

Ake Dias Stones Grealish Doku, I don't understand what is going on with them, have they played more than 2 games on the trot all season

It's Pep's man management when they're finally healthy enough to train. He's not giving them time to get match fitness through substitute appearances and they're immediately thrown into the starting lineup when they're available. They get maybe one game on the bench, then they're starting with that nonsense midfield in front of them chasing down runners on the counter.

Eh. We're struggling a bit yes, but yesterday was an anomaly of a scoreline. When Haaland scored I thought we looked most likely to go on and win it, they get a huge slice of luck and our fragile confidence delivered the rest. Nothing to do with them. Totally calm about it, unlike Arsenal who, as usual, over celebrate like the genuine losers they are.

We cannot continue to collapse when the going gets slightly tough though. Disappointing to see such a fragile mindset amongst this group in particular.

Doku and Grealish are never fit or match fit this season and look 2nd or 3rd choice when fit

They all say City and Pep have earned a sloppy season ? well be careful what you wish for
Other teams will catch up and overtake you in the blink of an eye and you will find yourself fighting for a 6th place finish

more than anything im sad that this era is so spectacularly over and i have a hunch Pep will not see out the rebuild either

no more amazing Kevin goals/passes, no more Bernardo pingers, Gundogan silky burst into the box, Walker running down whichever hot left winger was all the rage, a Riyahd Mahrez gravity defying touch, Eddy wrong footing some striker with a nonchalant Cruyff turn and probably no more John Stones being John Stones we knew.
Sad.

In years gone by this would have stung and stung for weeks. Not so these days - 24 hours and over it.

Totally embarrassed for Arsenal though.
Agreed. They just come over as very silly. Over emotional yet again. Rui Paul should recruit at the Emirates stadium. He would have probably 50k to pick from plus about 14 of the players.

It’s part of the the master plan to lure Madrid into a false sense of security,we will rock up and play like the champions we are

I think you’re right. He hasn’t had enough time working with the new guys in training. It’s all about recovery and patching up injuries. This form is not gonna get any better because they’ve got a lot of fixtures in the next month or so. It’s gonna be the same situation: play, recover, patch up, play, recover etc etc

Kind of puzzled that some are picking Liverpool as their preferred favourites for the title. Do people forget that they trashed our players' coach, with the players inside, and got away scot free from the Liverpool constabulary over it, who chose to go blind that day? Do people forget the bricking they gave our supporters coach, on the very day that we impeccably observed the silence for the 96? Do people forget those fuckers cheering Yaya being taken off injured, on that same day? More generally, do people forget being threatened and attacked, sometimes with knives, over the years as they cross Stanley Park on the way to the match?
Fuck Liverpool!! Up the Forest. And if not them, well then, hell, yes Arsenal, for their brief moment in the sun. Arsenal make fools and arseholes of themselves, but they're not on that level of feral. I'm pretty sure Liverpool will win it, but I for one will be having a complete media blackout that week.

Or 13th if it gets really bad!

Know what you mean, but I thought the same thing with the passing of the Zaba/Vin/Sergio and above all Merlin generation.

Don’t forget the pint pot full of coins that “accidentally” fell from SSL3 onto that poor girls head.

Funny Pep blamed the players not performing in the last 20 minutes when he suck into the chair first himself.

3-1 down and we take off in form attackers and send out on Grandad and the training cone?

Fuck me.
That is the white flag mate.

Pep thought his old assistant would show mercy to the elderly.
