We all know how much Rodri (formerly known by some on here as 'Plodri') improved under Pep's mentorship. So I'm very optimistic about how much he will improve once he arrives at the best club in the world.

His willingness to play through the lines will become a massive asset. It’s something we’ve missed since Rodri’s been injured - not always defining passes, just passing forward puts the opposition on the back foot and will be a welcome re-addition.

I remember watching Fernando 'The Octopus' on YouTube when we signed him.

If we had him in the team currently we would be better off. At least he would block shots and track back.

Never seen the kid play, but as long as he can run, tackle and pass the ball forward he'll be an improvement on our midfield this season. We all knew we needed midfielders and the club got one.
