Erling and Marmoush could do what Isak and Gordon are doing and 2/3 passes are getting them from one box to the other with Arsenal struggling to get back. I suppose our problem would be that we’d take eleventeen passes and they have 8 got back behind the ball……..

We did that v Chelsea, the issue v Arsenal was the quality of the passing.

Good half for Newcastle exactly what they would have wanted. Got the goal and kept a clean sheet, arsenal are getting irate already, just needs a little spark in the second half for them to lose their shit entirely.

Look how vulnerable arsenal have been to direct attacks. Haaland offere everything Isak does and more, savinho offers everything Gordon does and more. If we had passed forward and quickly instead of instantly passing backwards followed by a dozen sideways passes we might have create some chances. Not saying we have to be as deep and route 1 as newcastle are but we have the capabilities to mix the game up and be extremely effective yet we never do. It's just infuriating to see lesser teams do exactly what we didn't.
