I'd rather they come a couple of places above relegation for 3 or 4 years. Slowly dying, the financial support through sponsorship drying up, fans pissed off, no new stadium and no rebuild.

And then the wankers get relegated.

I disagree, if they're anywhere near relegation, the powers that be will suddenly be in favour of lifting financial fair play rules , this is our big chance to see them embarrassed.

There’s always seems to be one club who are mid to lowish mid table that cannot buy a result beginning late Feb to April that gets sucked into the relegation mire. The usual problem is a team that cannot score goals at all.

Would love to see this happen to the rags but it won’t down yo two things. Firstly, they have accumulated enough points his scruffy results ie that abortion of a result against us. Secondly, the competing clubs are just dreadful. Soton have been cut adrift. It also seems Wolves will get it done. That just leaves Leicester and Ipswich to get its collective shut together and put together a nice run. Cannot see that happening unfortunately.

When I first saw that I thought it was an internet piss take, some blinged up wannabe nobody who just happened to look like Rashford and someone had photoshopped his name into the picture.

If they did go down the sycophantic media would just create a whole new legendary narrative about the phoenix from the flames, rising from the ashes and returning to greatness once again etc etc... it would probably be even more cringeworthy and nauseating than the endless shit we already have to put up with.

Much better the media and the fans just suffer the purgatory of mid-table obscurity and irrelevance.

I don't think it's weight or muscle, it looks more like bloating and puffiness to me.

Numerous pharmaceutical products cause facial bloating and puffiness, steroids and Cocaine being two for instance.

That's not really accurate though.
Mouriniho got them to 2nd for starters.
I mention this because it is why I'm enjoying it so much.
It's a slow death. Mouriniho's second, (way behind us ) has gone to 5th, 7th and now 13th. Throughout this the idiots, sorry fans, believed they were good enough to win the league 'next season'.
Slowly it's dawning on the mentally deranged that they no longer have star players playing for them. Instead it's a washed up Madrid reject or some kid from the Dutch league who had to sack his paper round because he was coming to England.
Those that go, sit in a stadium that is crumbling and deep down they know it won't be fixed and they ain't moving to a new one.
They used to salivate over fixtures against the dippers and Arsenal, now they fear those same games.
They used to attract good managers especially Mouriniho, now it's a bloke from Portugal who only knows one system, can't adapt and hasn't got the players to play it.
Finally and this is the best one. Even under Moyes and Mouriniho they bought the best. Now they are skint, so skint they are having a fire sale to raise money.
