Fucking good team this lot. 6th in an ultra competitive league and probably the best league in England right now.

They're very good up front and there's no way we're keeping a clean sheet against them as our defence is probably on their level right now, especially after losing our talisman (Walker).

They'll be right up in our faces from the off and they're a right fit bunch of players - they will not tire. We're not good against a high press and we'll struggle.

I think we'll score, but I'm also hoping we'll keep them to one goal - but that will be tough. They battered Derby last round and won't be scared of us.

Take 1-1 and hopefully we're practicing penalties.
One of your better WUM posts, malg; )

Football analysis at its finest :)

12:15? That's fuckin forty-seven minutes to sixty-three here in old money ffs.

I can see Pep going very full strength for this game and looking at it more as a preparation for the RM match rather than trying to rest players for that game

After having a full weeks rest I think he will try getting the new guys in to the system rather then playing the kids for the sake of it and to rest players

I would go full strength from the start, If we start this game right and with the right team it should be resemble a trainings match by halftime, then we can give minutes to kids or players coming back from injury.

First half, City to score 5, second half, City 500 passes and 1 goal, :)

The one concern I have is injuries, really hope we come through unscathed....

We're not going to win the Chumps League so I hope he puts our best team out today. He won't but realistically we could win the FA Cup, qualify for the chumps league next year and, with Rhodders back, have a good go at the club world cup in the summer. That's where our priorities should be.

I don’t think Pep will go along with your thinking that we won’t win the CL.
