Leyton Orient (A) | FA Cup | Post Match Thread

We battled well, and thats a good win for us, the boys will be pleased they battled it out and won. The youngsters.... hmmm they seem shallow or not ready for the fight, a bit flakey compared with the previous generation of footballers, a bit too humble or whatever. MCatee really has had enough chances to kick on. O'Rielly needs more games I suppose. But against Orient they should be playing more comfortably. Marmoush is still getting used to the PL and they way City players are expected to take the kicks no other team has to,,, he will get their and based on what I have seen he is going to be quite a good player.

Keown was atrocious, I understand the underdog story and even ignoring City but he showed real true colours when it came to wanting our players to be injured, wanting us (And seemingly happy) to now struggle against RM in midweek. He used to be harmless with a near total lack of football knowledge but he is actually dangerous spreading his bullshit for everyone to consume.
going on about tactical fouling apparently only city do this

I though Gonzalez started well got on the ball and looked calm and assured until he hurt his back.reiss looked very silky on the ball more of a passer than a brute defender like khusanov.also marmoush showed some flashes they all need bedding in time but all look decent.on the game we got through bigger fish to fry come Tuesday come on you blues.

Such a poor performance to be going into the Madrid game. I really don't know what's going on with Grealish but he looked awful at the end, huge suitcases under his eyes and gaunt..did anybody else notice it? I don't know whether we just underestimated them or not but that wasn't good. Good to see Kushinov come on and do well, loving the goal he didn't realise he'd scored :) Our injury curse carries on, on second viewing I'm half thinking that big twat meant to come down heavy on Gonzo. Looks like it could be some kind of pelvic injury the way he fell on him, just hope it's bruising. Unfortunately, every game we play, the rebuild looks like it needs to be bigger.

We are in the next round that's what matters happy grealish got a assist some of there tackles was bad but a proper ref would of gave us a pen them a red and there lb a yellow for fouls on grealish marmoush just need a goal then it will come together like it did with savinho hopefully Nico ok aswell

Always thought that Pep usually picked his team on the basis of good trading sessions of players, must of thought that Jack has done enough to merit a place or perhaps knows he won’t be starting against Madrid….

Good win in the end after a fluke goal.
Ref didn't give us anying. Par for the course.
So many wasted chances though.
The only good thing is that to win the Cup, you have to have a difficult tie where you struggle. Hopefully this is it.

Watched with the sound off apart from when we scored to check how sick they were.
Not the most fluent but I thought we worked hard getting a foot in to avoid scrawny goals .
I always try to look at what might have happened if that defender hadn't got a foot in or a header or that ball had been miscontrolled and thought all the defenders competed well. O"Reilly comfortable on the ball under pressure. Kushanov made a good clearance early in second half, made it look like nothing but a no marking defender would have left a tap in.These things make a difference.
