Going on today's performance you'd think we have fuck all chance of getting a result, but stranger things have happened. As long as Gundo isn't near the starting eleven we might have a chance
I wouldn’t go for phil. I think we need to properly blitz them. Marmoush would give Vasquez a run for his money as he’s not an orthodox right back.Maybe, but Im pretty sure Marmoush not starting. My guess is Haaland, KDB, Foden and Savinho/Grealish.
I hesitate myself, said what I think Peps gonna do. Felt like they came up today jointly with KDB around 70 to catch a bit of rhytm for tuesday. Phil been very poor against Arsenal, but earlier has been one of our best players for couple of weeksI wouldn’t go for phil. I think we need to properly blitz them. Marmoush would give Vasquez a run for his money as he’s not an orthodox right back.
Surely Savinho is only 2nd behind Haaland for a start in the forward positions. Especially in a first leg at home. He’s the only player we’ve got who can start who beats anyone.I wouldn’t go for phil. I think we need to properly blitz them. Marmoush would give Vasquez a run for his money as he’s not an orthodox right back.
Very true. Interesting decision ahead of him.I hesitate myself, said what I think Peps gonna do. Felt like they came up today jointly with KDB around 70 to catch a bit of rhytm for tuesday. Phil been very poor against Arsenal, but earlier has been one of our best players for couple of weeks
We are blitzing nobody with Haaland up top and Kovacic/Gundo in the MF.Going on today's performance you'd think we have fuck all chance of getting a result, but stranger things have happened. As long as Gundo isn't near the starting eleven we might have a chance
Vasquez has filled in at right back pretty decently though in his defense. The defense around him now isn't nearly as good which makes it a promising match up for whoever lines up at left wing.I wouldn’t go for phil. I think we need to properly blitz them. Marmoush would give Vasquez a run for his money as he’s not an orthodox right back.
Don’t think he’s been particularly good in actual games but he’s been scoring plenty. He’ll start because nobody else is really standing out to take his place. Needs a rocket up his arse at the moment though.I hesitate myself, said what I think Peps gonna do. Felt like they came up today jointly with KDB around 70 to catch a bit of rhytm for tuesday. Phil been very poor against Arsenal, but earlier has been one of our best players for couple of weeks
Speaking of cricketers, I heard Ian Botham's nephew being mentioned today but can't recall what team he plays for.Good analogy, great batsman
We might well not get a result but it would be stupid making such a prediction on today's performance as few of the players that started the game will be playing anyway.Going on today's performance you'd think we have fuck all chance of getting a result, but stranger things have happened. As long as Gundo isn't near the starting eleven we might have a chance
You'll upset a few people with that prediction lol, but i agree I think they will fucking batter us both legs. We don't have a big performance in us this season. We are going to get fucking hammered unfortunately.
We always have a chance at the Etihad, it's the Bernabeu that worries me.Going on today's performance you'd think we have fuck all chance of getting a result, but stranger things have happened. As long as Gundo isn't near the starting eleven we might have a chance
100%We always have a chance at the Etihad, it's the Bernabeu that worries me.
Well referenced though;)I'm really encouraged by Khus, and am happy to delete from memory his first 4 minutes in a City shirt.
**Cricket reference warning **
Graham Gooch started with a pair (0 in both innings) for England. Became our leading test runs scorer.
Let's face it - we know that Akanji/Nunes/Gavrdiol will get skinned. Any argument against this is surely just bravado.
Khus would at least be an unknown quantity - plus what would it do for his confidence? There's also the chance that Vinicius' fragile ego won't like being dumped on his arse by somebody younger than him. He might even cry again :-)
I think Khus will prove to be the pick of the January window.
Megapologies about the cricket ref :-l
