Am amazed they haven't picked up that the KDB photo looks like Kev is about to elbow the Leyton Orient goalie ?
Newcastle seem to be the "brave, battling underdogs" at the moment with the BBC.
Perhaps Shearer as their chief pundit has something to do with their attitude ?
A huge difference in their reporting on the Newcastle and City games.
Thought the Birmingham manager seemed a decent, fair manager who gracefully accepted their result, despite the ridiculous linesman's decision.
Thought Wellens at Orient seemed a typical bitter and twisted Trafford Tramp...

Might be worth having a listen to Wellens comments after the match, could not have been more complimentary.

He was. But I also commented last night that the press were very supportive of him, no awkward questions and lots of respect compared to the shytee and complete disrespect Pep has at every presser. Someone just posted how Howe gets an easy ride, it was like that with Richie W. These bloody journalists ( apart from Martin Samuel) are just bitter red arse fanboyz who wouldn't know a quality intelligent manager if he fell over them. I honestly don't know how Pep copes with their inane/vitriolic/controversial leading mutterings that purport to be questions. The foreign journos are in a completely different league, they are intelligent, articulate and want to listen to what Pep has to say.

I missed the interviews but was a dipper player/manager told 'the rest of Britain wanted you lose' like the bbc asked us ?

No, thought not
Fair play to Rico yesterday how he handled that - laughed it back at Glen wotisname. What a godawful and disrespectful comment to make. It's the BBC though so I'm not surprised.

Compare that to the grovelling cringeworthy respect these twats showed to Fergie!

Agree he was complimentary about Pep, in a later interview.
He is not stupid, as loans from Premier League clubs are now crucial to lower league clubs.
But, I'm sure he said, immediately after the match in the BBC interview that Orient had a spell of controlling the game. Apart from the first 15 minutes, that was never the case.
Also, some of the Orient challenges (on Grealish, for example), were nasty. I always think that comes from the manager's acceptance of that type of tackling.
The Birmingham manager could/should have been fuming about the linesman given goal for NUFC.
He seemed a fat more balanced and mature manager...

What was Fat Sam Allardyce doing at Old Trafford with the GPC at Friday night's game ?
He wasn't collecting on old "throw the towel in bonus" from when he was Bolton manager, was he ?
Or was he discussing how their respective sons are getting frozen--out by all these Johnny Foreigners having their own Agents ?

Well it’s funny you mention that because he made a foolish comment about Spurs manager (Ange) last week a club who loan them a lot of there talented youngsters. So he might have been very complimentary so as not be required to apologise twice in a week.

There was a few tackles which went in but it’s a cup tie and I don’t think it was a particularly dirty game.

As for his comments about ‘controlling the game’ that has a whole range of contexts, for example letting City have the ball and limiting challenges could be considered, for Leyton Orient, controlling the game.

I do get your point but he seemed ok to me, in relation to yesterday.
