I’d like to see Khusanov and Marmoush in the team but I think Pep will opt for Akanji and Foden.

Remember the consensus on here that we wouldn’t win anything with a combo of Rodri and Gundo?

Relax, Pep won't start Gundo. He knows he's not the same player that helped us win the Treble. He wasn't supposed to be a starter when we signed him. Injuries forced Pep to play him more often than expected.

You can test your conviction by betting on a big Real win. Wouldn’t recommend.
 
If we need more goals, can see Pep playing in the final 15-20 minutes Savinho and Doku on both wings and Marmoush behind Haaland.

That might be our best tactical option against a depleted and tiring Real defence. All of Savinho, Marmoush and Doku are fast and can dribble.
 
Judging by the videos of Nico in training, no chance he'll be involved IMO.

He's wincing when doing some stretches, never mind when somebody comes and challenges him.

Shame.
 
We need to play quick, incisive football against these tonight.

If we play the usual slow, side-to-side football then they'll have a field day against us when we eventually turn over possession. As most sides have done without Rodrygo, Mbappe and Vinicius.

Those three aren't ones to track back, though, so we need to use that and play with speed before they've eventually ambled back into position.

Especially in the home leg. I'm all for strangling possession away from home in a tense atmosphere but tonight we need to take advantage of being at home.

I think Gvardiol will be key tonight. Used the same way he was vs Chelsea with Marmoush closer inside with Haaland. And maybe Nunes too on the other side with Foden pushed centrally.

Yeah he looked very uncomfortable in a video doing the rounds. Does not look like he will be available.
