Any of our ITKs got any more news on whether Nico G will be fit for tonight?
He won't be getting constantly mugged by Rudiger tonight (with the referee's blessing) , so a hat-trick's on the horizon...It's about time that Haaland scores.
Play more balls in behind, if we are gonna give up possession let it be in their final 3rd only and let them break us down offering more counter attacking opportunitiesThe problem is, how should we outscore them? Look at our results this season. But like always, believe in them.
I'd do it with eyes closed but it would be money happily lostI can't understand how any blue can bet on us getting beat. Cheering on the other team to beat us all for a few quid?
I'd feel ashamed picking my money up.
I bet on the opposition sometimes but I don’t want them to win obviously. It just lessens the pain if they do. Nowt wrong with that.I can't understand how any blue can bet on us getting beat. Cheering on the other team to beat us all for a few quid?

My theory is that a lot of non-City fans will be placing comfort bets which is why we are favourites.I can't understand how any blue can bet on us getting beat. Cheering on the other team to beat us all for a few quid?

If we concede first, then that is a real possibilityThis will be another Arsenal.
We're not going to lose, we're going to get mullered.
Yes, I would say it is just bruising, otherwise he would be having treatment and not on thr training pitch.I’ve not heard if the club have said what’s wrong.
But if he’s training hopefully it’s just bruising.
Give him something for the pain before the game and try to get 60 minutes out of him
… what’s the worst that could happen.
I’d back against us no problem if the odds looked wrong. I’d still want us to win though obviously. Like at Anfield there was no way Liverpool should have been 5/4 earlier in the season with the mess we were in at the time.I can't understand how any blue can bet on us getting beat. Cheering on the other team to beat us all for a few quid?

Same team I scribbled down sat at the breakfast table this morning (Before missus called me obsessed and weird). Marmoush and Doku (assuming fit) as possible additions for pace later in the game. Not sure I trust Khusanov not to go diving in and think he needs a lot more games to get up to scratch.Ederson
Akanji
Stones
Dias
Gvardiol
Nico
Bernardo
De Bruyne
Savinho
Foden
Haaland
I’d be tempted to start grealish, as he’s made an impact each time he’s played.
I doubt a 10/20 quid here or there is enough to move the odds though on a game this big. The proper big backers would need to involved to move it like thatMy theory is that a lot of non-City fans will be placing comfort bets which is why we are favourites.
Much like what @N1985 is doing but opposite.
Savinho has to start. Get it to his feet and let him go at them and put crosses in for HaalandLong ball up to Haaland with Marmoush and Foden playing off him is the way. No point trying to play through that Madrid midfield- best to just bypass it.
... and you were doing so well :-(And maybe Nunes too on the other side
I hope they bring condoms and lube.

Fair enough that mate, each to their own as they say. I don't bet anymore and never have bet against City. But if I had over the years I'd have probably been a few quid up, especially this season. When my gut feeling tells me we'll lose I'm usually right. That's not quite how it works. I bet what I can afford to lose. If City win, I've lost but City have won. City lose and I'm pissed off but I've got something out of it financially.
It's made this season a lot more bearable pal, but each to their own, I'm certainly not cheering on any **** to beat us.
I've been in situations that City have scored last minute and I've lost out on a couple of hundred quid. I couldn't care less because City have got something out of it.
I always back the other team to win in a final. Eases the pain. I'm still not over the rags beating us in the FA Cup final. But spending the £600 I won on a trip to Italy for me and the daughter helped with the initial devastation
