Iam confused with our line up?
Can some body help me how we gona score with that set up?
is it 5 in the back?
Depends and that’s the beauty like you madrid are equally scratching their heads

Very unusual for Madrid to release their lineup two hours before the kick off! And if (a big IF I hasten to add) the rumours are true re Pep changing our starting line up after he saw that Madrid team, then this smacks of Madrid and Ancelloti playing Pep! Hopefully not.

Feel like people are making too much of Grealish’s ability to win yellow cards. Three of the six Madrid players at the risk of suspension aren’t playing, and the other three will be given a lot of leeway by the ref I imagine.

They've dug Lahoz up for the game.

:)

terrible team selection, again the onus of getting goals lies with Haaland,
what has Grealish done to deserve to start the game? I would have started with Marmoush for Grealish and Kovacic for KDB.
Real will win this 2-0
Shut up,

If we have any chance of winning this thing we need our better players performing.

Jack Grealish playing well in our midfield goes a long way.

Marmoush missed half a dozen against Orient!

Correct, it's a 180 minute game.

No point going gung ho and conceding loads.

This tie may be decided in the last 5 minutes of the 180.

Absolutely.

Going gungo ho and opening up spaces for their front 4 might be suicidal.

Play patiently, tire them out, draw fouls, dominate them in both boxes, unleash Marmoush, Doku and Foden after the break.

Let's be totally fucking open and honest here. We've been wank this season. We can't keep a clean sheet. The cold hard reality is that Real are likely to pump us home and away.

So, the manager has gone with people he's trusted in big games gone by. It might go wrong, but regardless of 51.2% of people on here saying we'll win, in reality it would be good to still be in it before the second leg.

It's a hard reality given what we've seen over the last 4 years, but that's football.

Let's all get behind the team for an 1-1....

A bit like Joe Pesci thinking he’s getting made in Goodfellas :-)

Fear the worst regardless of the team. Seems a defensive team.

Perhaps a wise move as we are so open to counter attacks this season

I'd prefer we had players starting that know were the net is tonight in preference to looking for the opposition to get bookings.

Tonight is massive to get a few goals to bring to Madrid, That team lacks goals other than Haaland. I get the feeling we'll see Foden and Marmoush earlier than normal tonight.
