I think you'll find Grealish has done ok for goals and assists for us recently, whereas Marmoush hasn't yet got really going. Grealish is also better at keeping the ball and helping the defence.

I'm surprised he's got the start but I thought it would be Foden playing, not Marmoush.

The line-up is a tribute to Rodri's importance. It's too risky to play our normal game without him.

Go pragmatic, and then use your attacking options off the bench.

The first 10 minutes will be telling. Hopefully the crowd will lift the players and inspire them to win.

Perhaps we'll try to keep the ball in our half and then go long to Haaland, KDB and Savinho.

Expecting it to be a fairly conventional 4-3-3, with Stones as the holding midfielder. Decent attacking options on the bench with Foden, Marmoush and Doku.

Pretty much what I think, with maybe Akanji stepping in besides Stones when we have the ball.

We’ll defend with the ball. I actually think it’s a sensible selection. Also, their make shift defence will not enjoy set pieces, provided Jack can win some. Which he usually does.

We also have the most explosive bench we’ve had in years in case we need to change our approach.

That team is good enough to win the game...IF they perform to their maximum ability. That means getting in the Madrid players faces, not letting them settle, hitting a blue shirt with every pass, taking our chances, fighting for every ball and getting the fans on the edge of their seats. Up the blues...keep the faith.
