No pace in the back line - the ball in behind our defence was always on...with no walker any more we cant get away with it .

Gundo when he came on was awful.

The result was about right and if we had won that game we wouldnt have deserved it.

Agree with everything. Still don’t know why pep keeps playing such a high line when we constantly give up long balls. It’s baffling

No chance of going through, most of us expected that but i have never seen a team fuck up to conceed goals as much of us.
I dont think he can fix it, his style is now becoming outdated where teams are all about press, pace, energy and we just do not have it yet he is setting up every game as if we have it

Spot on,once Lewis came on unfortunately I knew he’d struggle against Vinicius,as you mention why not Khusanov with his pace,as for the medical team god knows what they are doing but someone needs held to account over constant injuries every team gets them but ours is beyond a joke now,although we are also probably rushing players back which we never did,surprised they won’t try and tell Rodri oh your fine you can play in a week or two,the whole club this season is a fucking shambles..
 
Feel a bit sorry for the team tonight. They gave it all tbf. Wasn't enough. RM won with more quality. We used to win like that. On a positive note thought the defence was a lot better and more solid. Dont give us a chance at their place. FA CUP AND TOP 4 WILL DO ME.
 
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is getting tiresome now.
Errors are costing us again. It’s not as if we’re being outplayed, we’re throwing games .
Some players are just not good enough at this level.
Lewis is just not good enough nor is Kovacic.
Ederson remains a complete enigma.
On the plus side I thought Stones had an excellent game in the middle and the big man broke his duck v Madrid.
No matter what the media will say we’re still in the tie and Madrid will be punished if they’re complacent next week.
The fat lady may be gargling but she ain’t singing yet.

He’s not good enough or tall enough to play in my son’s U’11s team, let alone playing for City.
If he’s the future, maybe we’d be better off getting sent to the national league.

So that’s our fault for keeping him then. If that’s true….. which it probably isn’t. Why people believe the know nowts on Twatter/X I’ll never get my head around

They used to say Pep always finds a way to win, sadly he now always finds a way to lose.
 
Ffs, Madrid didn’t deserve to lose that game tonight, but ffs City, its every single game now giving away stupid ridiculous amateur goals.

I gave to agree, the game is more athletic now than it’s ever been, you need pace everywhere and we don’t have it. Pep needs to take a look at his players now, I don’t think they have the ticky tacky about them, we need to adapt or die next season because everyone else has pace.

I would settle for that too but I also want to give those orange twats a game at their place.

Too short notice for us to bring in another quality keeper. Up until the Feyenoord debacle he was one of our better performers this season.
