Away fans / tourists in home sections

what needs to be done is concerted effort to remove half n half sellers off site completly. no bags allowed there was bloke walking along side us super large holdall and suitcase walking infront of main stand completly unchallenged amazing

People take the piss out of Fulham for having a neutral section but it would solve a lot of problems for us.

If the tourists that people complain about were encouraged to sit together in specific blocks that would mean they weren't sat amongst city fans and pissing them off.

OK that section of the ground would be shit but as city fans wouldn't be sat there, it wouldn't really matter.

Would probably make the tourists feel more comfortable too if they were amongst like minded people instead of being sat next to Dave from Openshaw who has had 8 pints before the match.

It juts ends up an away section for certain games for Liverpool and United fans one game a year.

If season ticket holders aren't going, and I reckon at least 15k of those didn't buy a ticket for last night, who is going to buy the seats at the prices they charge?
CL tourist are not bothered about City v Brentford.

They can't get tickets for the big PL games, so they concentrate getting tickets for the CL games.

Most of them were there to see Real Madrid first, and City second.

Real Madrid have a massive following in the Arab world, and in North Africa, alongside Barcelona.

Last night did my head in - half and half feckin' scarves with the Madrid emblem at the front.
I agree. The "Hala Madrid" on the H&H scarves was awful to see... so many tourists yesterday and it's always Real Madrid. Can't really continue like this - apart from the game, of course.

Why don't those who was around the bloke who was shaving someone's hair report it to the club telling them it's out of order if someone can bring something like that in next time it could be a knife or a gun

jesus, NO thanks.

Last night, East Stand (where our quiet and weedy fans sit - I'M JOKING!!!!!)) top tier, one of our fans asked a steward to do something about the Madrid fans. two of my sons were up there - saw it all. The steward told the Madrid fans to feck off out. They refused so he made a half arsed threat to come back with reinforcements - but he bottled it - didn't come back. One of our Scottish fans took the law into his own hands, issued a loud threat, and laid out the Madrid gobshite. I'm in the second tier - East Stand to be near my mate - having spent 18 years in the more raucous North (Family) Stand with the semi-retired firm hoolies.

There were at least 200 RM fans evicted last night. But they hadn't sold out their own allocation so maybe it is the RM/CL people who should be asked the question. Why are you not selling your allocation to your own fans?

Around where I was sitting there were at least 10/15 evicted. There were still more left, they didn't make a noise and people didn't realise until almost the end I don't think.

About ten or eleven people across three different rows of Blocks 122 and 123 got turfed out for celebrating after RM's first goal last night. There was a young woman steward there who was absolutely no nonsense once she'd identified them and the ejections went on for several minutes. One East Asian lad had no idea what he'd done wrong and his girlfriend got left behind. The others appeared to be Saudi and Indian lads. I mention backgrounds only as there was clearly lots of low-key Spanish fans in half and halves who were a bit more streetwise and kept their heads down when the Asian and Arab lads with less idea of the etiquette were getting giddy. One major issue was the amount of "neutrals" blocking the stairs in the five minutes before the match with their phones out for the light show. That could potentially have been a dangerous situation. You do get this type of behaviour in CB1 because even though there's lots of solid Blues there, proximity to the pitch, tunnel, linesman etc makes it selfie central for day trippers. I don't have the foggiest how some of these guys will have met the criteria for tickets. Quite a few regulars/ST holders were not about last night, so I don't know whether they passed on taking up their tickets, missed the window or sat elsewhere. Either way it was a decent atmosphere but a situation that needs watching before it gets ridiculous.

mind boggles the amount of money so they can get a ticket.

yet the club say you have to be a member of the club with x amount of history purchasing tickets

wasnt as bad as other games

Dont forget, UEFA also have a thing in place where a certain number of tickets in home end go to away fans
