Weirdly enough, he's an abysmal pundit but he worked as a commentator last night. He was justifiably up in arms about the stupid VAR check, should never have taken that long.

Thought the BBC report was largely bang on.

We are an ageing team/squad.
Playing against Madrid, you do have to concentrate every second.
Grealish was playing well.

It’s great that he was so hurt by that defeat. Truly one of our best days as a club and the start of a new era. We have been taking the piss out of the Rags ever since.

Football punditry seems to be the only job in the world where you can keep your job despite performing appallingly, show no signs of improvement and no feedback whatsoever from customers is taken into account. Many of these guys have been pundits longer than they ever played the game!

I'm pretty sure if you asked most viewers they would prefer a far more stripped back approach with one presenter and one commentator. Now they have at least 4 people in the studio and three commentators on the actual game. Who actually enjoys this stuff? It's become a completely overblown industry.

And would it be too much to ask for some possibility of a sort of knowledge regarding tactics and an ability to pass that on in an a way which is enjoyable to listen to rather than, "he got the ball but he got a lot of the man" when that isn't even what you're seeing with your eyes.

It's all drama and the sheep like Wio, Jamie, fucking knob'ed Neville and most of the other cvnts still think they're some sort of relevant "celebrities". Bloody Dublin offering out a fan on live TV?! Fuck me, they're all washed up no mark has beens, with the main presenter saying I've got your back.
