Want to start seeing front 4 of

Foden-----------Marmoush-------------Savinho
-----------------------Haaland----------------------------

Consistently. Has makings of superb frontline just need to build understanding ect.

Play Stones and Nico G behind them, that'll match the physicality Newcastle have in midfield.. The oldies(Gundo/Kova/Bernie) will get bullied and it'll cost us the game.

I'd like to see Khusanov but doubt it'll happen. Don't want to see Rico vs Gordan as he'll just get paced everytime. Ake a must

Both keepers are/have been shite but Eddie brings that long ping so stick with him.

Their midfield is going to destroy us. Especially if Joelinton is back with Bruno G and Tonalli.

Don't even know how to approach this.

Definitely not a high line. Anthony will skin whoever is on the left.
Joe Linton is out for a number of weeks and Dan burn is unlikely to be fit for this one. 3 v 1 city

Voted for a loss.
Barcodes 3-1 City

I suspect the RM match may have done some critical damage

Pretty much nailed on. It's like 99% chance.

Chelsea will probably win the conference league without breaking sweat. The Europa League 2 you never know but they're in the last 16 guaranteed, as are Liverpool, Arsenal and Villa.

They'd all have to pretty much go out in the next round and that's not happening.
Cheers pal. Didn’t realise it was so certain.

Tough game coming before the away leg next week. One we can't afford to lose more than have to win in my opinion this. I'd be wrapping up certain players for the away leg - Stones, Ake, Akanji being critical based on how things went with the subs/reshuffle.

We need Nico to start and get through the 90, he gives us a great option for the Bernabeu if he does.

Eddie, Lewis, Khusanov, Dias, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Nico, Foden, Marmoush, Haaland, Savinho

Hopefully Doku can get a run out too giving us another option midweek.

Newcastle are hit and miss. When they are up for it they're a challenge for anyone. But they can be off their game fairly often too. I still see Villa as the biggest threat for top 4 personally. Hopefully they show us too much respect being away from home and allow us the time to create chances. On the counter they could tear us to pieces though, but I think Nico will make a huge difference in that midfield.

It's top5 mind. Makes a difference.

Beating Newcastle would be huge. Chelsea and Forest haven't won yet away at Brighton and Fulham resp.
Arsenal will have problems upfront for rest of the season and they still have CL as well.

I would prefer to concentrate on Newcastle, take Madrid realistically as a shot to nothing (2 goal win, there?? Our lads don't believe to win matches 10 mins to go, how could they believe at Bernabeu? Extra 30 mins for a 1-goal win? No way please!!).

And take points off dippers at home is an absolute must duty afterwords.

If we only stop the clownery in defence and manage games we will make top5. Fa cup to Wemberley for some adventure could come on top.

Could be a high scoring game. Either Isak or Haaland or both could get hatricks. Identical records. Two good teams however Howe seems to be getting the best of his team whereas Pep is struggling and our confidence looks low.

In the Carabao cup, but their league form is a little iffy.

Would much rather we concentrate on beating Newcastle rather than worrying about next week. After all, we could play at our very best and still not beat Real Madrid.
