I put the same question on the other day, and got a reply saying the land they sell half n half scarves on belongs to metrolink, i think the club should be into metrolink to fuck em off considering the money our supporters put into metrolink, i am not sure of the laws on all this, but getting rid of half n half scarves would be a great start.

Even for Soriano, Danny, the other directors, the managers under them, and the bean counters at City, this thread has to be a sobering read and a wake up call, not they've all been sleep walking into this issue. Surely they can see where this is ultimately heading now and into the future?

I’ll be absolutely honest and say I really don’t understand the fixation with half and half scarves. To some people they are a reminder of their visit, to some they become part of their collection of souvenirs.

Don’t worry I know you will castigate me for such calumny but I scratch my head. I’m there to watch my team play football not to notice what folk are wearing.

For the most part, we will not be replaced by multi hundred pound spending tourists. For Real Madrid, yeah, but they weren't exactly banging the door down to get into the group stage games were they? If any of us fucked those games off, another seat would be left empty.

Obviously I’m not trying to compare Sheikh Mansour to Levy.

But there are similarities between Spurs fans protesting and the growing discontent and unhappiness amongst City fans about season ticket prices, match day ticket prices, the way the both clubs are treating their fans, etc. Away fans in the home ends isn’t mentioned.

The disconnect between the club and fans is getting worse. I've said it before, but we don't have the numbers for this business model to be sustainable long term (the non-season ticket prices are insane), and now the time has come that we're not quite as exciting to watch as we were even last season, the demand from day-trippers who might be prepared to cough up £200 to watch us v Liverpool etc., but not so much Southampton, will drop off. Those at City making these short term decisions are cunts......unfortunately for us, they won't/don't give a fuck.

You’re right, they don’t care. The expanded North stand will cement that don’t care attitude with a huge increase in match day revenues. But they will start caring when they see 1000’s of empty seats all over the ground in the Carabao Cup, the FA Cup, and especially in the Europa League, and UEFA Conference League, if City start falling away on the pitch, when 8000 additional seats need filling in the expanded North stand.
