City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

It’s now on the CAF.

They want Ineos to sponsor United for a billion pounds.

Lol!

Newcastle’s shirt sponsorship was reduced too wasn’t it? Hopefully they’ll sue as well.
Rumours are that we put in a few ‘see where the line is’ deals when we did the Sela deal, which itself is rumoured to end at the end of this season with the possibility of it being extended. Those bigger deals though are said to have stayed in the background for any developments to allow them to waved through.

The fume on the Red top’s faces when we have Aramco or Saudia on our shirts will be hilarious if it happens.

Massive PR win among journalists and owners for City after the PL responded to the initial judgment by briefing everyone that it wasn’t a victory for city at all and then pushed through new amendments that have now been ruled unlawful as well.

You couldn’t really hope an opponent that’s more incompetent than the PL.
That’s what happens when you have 20 clubs all out for themselves.

The league will tear itself apart coming after City and the laughter will be heard loud and clear from la Liga and the Bundesliga.

History clubs erm I mean clubs formed in 92 should not control the future landscape of the premier league. Money grabbing wankers.

Illegal, unfair, unfounded greed to stop competition. If the media spin this other than a resounding victory, the self proclaimed bastions of truth should be held to account over their own duplicitous actions against a great club.

Thanks.

It will be in the OS in a bit. :-)
It’s looking like the news is that bad for the PL most media outlets are trying to hide it . SSN to their credit said it has huge consequences for the PL and its finances

But if it's deemed that loans should be subject to fair market value wouldn't they have to back date them and make them fork out?
It doesn’t work like that and nor should, to be fair. Arsenals mitigation would be untouchable in that they were following the rules that were in place at the time.
It’d be like getting done because you smoked in a pub in 1980, or many thousands of elderly people getting done for smacking their kids in the 70’s, before both those things were illegal.
