City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

Ode to Dick Masters

You stood as tall as a mountain
You never really thought about the drop
You trod over City to get there
Just so You could keep Rags on top
Clumsy and blind You stumbled
As You rewrote APT for our lands
You didn't stop to think about the consequences
As it came to pieces in Your hands
You thought You was a maritime marvel
You believed that You ruled the FA
All You could say is time is motion
And every Red Team You would save
You are a shit stained statue
School children stand in awe
you Truly believed Iyou was a ceiling of sky
Never thought about having flaws
You felt as reverent as Jesus
Your sanctimony stunk
You thought you were admiral of the missing fleet
You couldn't see City had you sunk
You roared Your pride in the darkness
You scratched away at the stars
You thought You was lord of Football
you should have been put behind bars
But now You sit with your head in your hands
And wail to the weeping wall
The avalanche of your emotions
Holds the audience of one enthralled
You are learning the lesson the hard way
Like a fall from command
You thought you was king of the whole wide world
But it just came to pieces in your hand

A tiny bit of rewriting of a classic for Mr Masters

Scruffy Jim has just sacked the paper lad and renewed his Chelsea season ticket.
Burnham has renewed his EFC season ticket for next season and agreed planning permission for OT to be turned into an Amazon distribution centre.

1. No. The PL position is that the November fixed the unlawfulness and, in effect, should be seen as a total re-write and are therefore in place. APT 2 will have to go ahead if that is their position.
2. No. I don't think he is.
What is city's argument against point 1 as it sounds reasonable on the face of it.

Didn't you say on talksport that if apt1 was deemed unlawful then apt2 would become null and void? Or is there no outcome in the apt1 case that would have the apt2 null and void?

Richard Masters my name,
And I ran the PL game,
Till loads of barristers came,
And tore up the rules again.

'Twas in the winter of 25,
The cartel was barely alive,
All the clubs were giving me hell,
It’s a time I remember oh so well.

The night they drove the cartel down,
And all the bells were ringing,
The night they drove the cartel down,
And all the people were singing,
They went: Blues going to sue your arse,
Blues going to sue your arse right off,
La,la, la, la, la.

(The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.)

Looks a nonce.

The MUEN is owned by Trinity News.

Trinity News love the 3 Red Shirt Cartel clubs.

City don’t give the MUEN any information, updates, news, nothing, zilch.

So the MUEN/Trinity News print negative stories about City.

That’s their way of getting back at City.
Am I right in saying it’s the only local paper? It’s crazy that they alienate a very large percentage of locals. Mind you who buys papers these days.

Let’s just see how things play out here. Stefan has done a great job based on the information he is aware of. Unfortunately, he’s not aware of everything, for obvious reasons.
Whilst it feels more of a win than has previously been reported the caveats add to the confusion.
I’m looking forward to @slbsn going rinsing SJ once he can get a word in edge ways.
We’ve won the battle, but not yet the war.
That will come soon, very soon :-)
