Nice mix up of play there as well.

Tempo tempo tempo!!!

We have got it out wide and attacked their fullbacks with pace.

Also not afraid to hoist it long either. We are keeping the opponents guessing.

Nico has been class in the Midfield. He's organising everyone and sniffing out any threat.

We look solid at the back for a change as well. Even the odd time the barcodes have broke we have got back in numbers and nullified the chance.

More of the same please blues!!!

Please don't concede in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Otherwise we know what's coming!!!

This feels so calm, everyone looks relaxed. Love the look of Nico already, so composed on the ball. Marmoush unplayable and Khusanov is doing everything right.

With Marmoush in the side we now have a genuine goal threat again so simply marking Erling won’t cut it anymore.

No complaints about that first half. They've not laid a glove on us (yet). Marmoush did the fandango and was very, very frightening (apologies for my criticism of him just before he bagged his first). Love Savinho, Gonzalez and Kushunov's contributions. Rico's been fine. Just no sloppiness City at the start of the second.

The presence of Nico makes such a difference. It's a glimpse of what we've missed in Rodri's absence, and the Egyptian Pharoah is a fantastic player!

Pep should have started Omar instead of Kevin vs. Real. No guarantee for a goal or top performance but Omar is currently the better player. Start players on merit.

Savinho is excellent. Nico and Khus have been solid.

Surprisingly or not, our better performances recently have been with Gundo in the team: Ipswich, Chelsea and now Newcastle. Go figure.
