The lad is absolutely quality.

He doesn't get enough credit for his performance against Chelsea, He could have caved in after that 5 minute spell and he didn’t, He continued to play out from the back and be aggressive in challenges.

That performed today was immense, Not many keep Isak quiet, He had him in his arse pocket.

He got turned very easily right in front of me in the first few minutes and Pep went mad…..that apart he was superb and also gave Rico plenty of cover….I think he’s going to be a good one.
 
Early days yet but Gonzalez was brilliant, very assured on the ball him and Rodri next year will be hard to beat. Not saying we’ve turned a corner (like United do every week) but it’s certainly looking brighter, a strong finish to the season top 4 and fa cup hopefully.
 
I think (I said think) that was our best match of the season beginning to end — certainly since the slump began. Kudos obviously to Marmoush (has any Prem player scored their first goal in the league as part of a hat trick? Did Aguero maybe?) But I thought Savvy, Stones, Lewis, Gvardiol, Nico among others were very solid today. Hopefully the big boy shakes off that knee issue. It’s fun to watch us play well without thinking about what it “means”. And fans were in great voice. Very pleasant morning; now off to the golf course and then cracked crab and sourdough bread for dinner. Not a bad Saturday!
 
That was great, Ederson’s long balls were dangerous all game, defensively pretty solid, Stones and Khusanov were excellent. Nico had an excellent home debut with a decent Rodri impression, Foden was sharp, Haaland caused mayhem without getting a proper pass and Savinho destroyed Hall. Marmoush took his hat trick really well and pressed very effectively.

Great result and performance hopefully no issue with Erling!

Ivenot seen a lot of Newcastle this year..id be interested to see what they thought about their performance...was it sub par for this season or were we just so much better that we have been all season - or a mix of both???
 
great game to watch, the new players have made a massive difference. just shows Gundo and Kova are not good enough on their own, they need strength beside them, Nico is that! and by the way, Marmoush is awesome!
