City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

If anyone wants a laugh, it's here:-

A totally strange article that shows a total lack of understanding of how legal hearings work. As Martin Samuel says it is not a game of tennis where legal points made count towards the outcome. City won on the substantial point that the rules were unlawful. That supercedes all the debates.

The irony of that headline, clearly Wallace didn't follow or was aware of football in the 80s, 90s and 00s, when certain clubs could spend what they wanted.
Seeing as he was the Telegraph's football reporter based in Manchester in the early noughties, he knows full well what the rags were spending and was, no doubt, loving it.

Sam seems to changed his tune. Thought we lost.

Difficult to decide if he's the worst Client journalist shill ,or it's Herbert, Delaney,Cross x2,Wilson,Roney,Ducker,McConnell, Jackson, Curtis x2,Winter,Roan,Stone Cunningham,Slot,Sweeney or he's just a Rag ba*****!
Apologies if I've missed anybody out from our objective media!
Clear and organised!

The end game either way is surely not adding £20-40m to Everton's PSR losses so they fail by a mile for this year and 25/26? Surely. Because that is the likely consequence of retroactive shareholder loan provisions without mitigation.
So do you believe City are just being vindictive towards the PL or do you believe there is some other reason that neither you nor the rest of us have thought of for why the club are pursuing it?

It could also be (and in my view is likely to be) part of a wider strategic plan in relation to the governance of the game.

The same people that say City must be guilty of at least 1 of the 115 think we got beat on points….

Edut: dont know what went wrong. I am referring to Sam Wallace, a so called reporter for the Racistgraph, aka Telegraph.

Mr Wallace please could you explain to us minions how Manchester City can now spend 'without limits'.
Me, a mere pleb always thought that Uefa had there own financial rules which stopped clubs spending what they want.
I would ask you in the comments section of your (cough) newspaper but I'm banned.

I question your motives here.
I am not going to indulge you so no more responses from me.
I also question your desire to bow, scrape, doth cap & touch forelock in respect to professional authority without question. It's weird & worrying.

Perhaps you've been a disciple of Stefan long enough to be able to step in & provide an answer as to why the police, HMRC, SFO or Companies House (to our knowledge) have yet to descend on the Etihad in respect to our alleged serious fraud, tax evasion & money laundering criminality?

I'll wait...

I think they are toying with the governance people and the CEO right now without necessarily having a specific point relating to the APT rules. And quite enjoying it
I am delighted with the strategy as long as they are fucking those (the governance people and the CEO) miserable cunts.

I’ve answered that a thousand times on this thread. Try reading, if you can. It is a simplistic suggestion you could dismiss with two seconds thought. Here’s a word you might understand: evidence. Also look up the Fraud squad’s proposed change of policy.
