I liked what Brendan Rodgers said today regarding Celtic. Losing a football match isn't a big deal, but leaving everything out there and knowing you gave it your all is critical.

I hope Pep doesn't make too big and occasion of it. We are where we are due to results in the league phase. We shouldn't be in this position but it is what it is.

This isn't a semi final it's a playoff. Don't put the same level of pressure on things. The trophy is miles off even if we win. Go out there and give it everything, if we get beat we get beat.

I can see a masterful City performance and a tactical stroke of genius from Pep tomorrow. But I was saying that throughout our horrific form so take it with a pinch of salt!
Agree with some of this, but this is not just a play-off imho because any team who can knock RM out is capable of winning the thing.
I hope the players approach this just like they would a semi-final. If you want to win it (I do, although I'd have preferred 5-in-a-row :-)), no round is more important than any other.

Wonder if Pep will force Ake in at CB and have Stones in the middle with Nico to let Savio, Marmoush, Bernardo and Haaland to run wild.

Not a free hit, but we are the underdogs tomorrow. Hopefully that great win on Saturday will give us the confidence and belief we can win. We have the players in Marmoush, Haaland, Foden and Savinho that can hurt them. Whilst we have to win we need to be wary of their counter and we don't want to go too gung ho and concede early.

I see Ancelotti has been moaning about the officiating in La Liga in the pre match press conference. Let's hope we have a strong ref tomorrow, because I think Madrid will upto their usual tricks.

I don't expect us to have the space behind RMs' defence & Kev may longer has the legs but I'm pretty sure Pep rested both Kev & Berny for Madrid
I think you’re probably right. It’s just not the way I would go.

I just hunted around for a stream for 20 minutes. And then remembered the game is on tomorrow, not today! What a plonker :-)

Me and my 16 year old have just hit the bar in Tenerife (early flight to Madrid tomorrow), we’ll certainly be leaving nothing out there. CMON City

Sadly, i worry this is true :(. Gundogan is a definite candidate for substitution. But other than him, only Lewis for a more defensive RB seems a possibility.
