Bernardo Silva is finished at this level and anyone who says different is living in the land of the cuckoos !!

At the risk of engaging with a WUM, are you mad?

He’s bloody goosed you loon, he unlike everyone else in pitt squad hasn’t really missed a minute of any import game. He’s played an out 300 games without so much as two weeks off.
This season he’s been used to plug gaps. His intensity can’t possibly be expected to be the same. But we still needed him against Leyton Orient on an occasion I assume we going to rest him.

He’s still our most intense player, he’s had zero help this season.
Much like Gundogan Saturday, playing with a top no.6, a defence that could actually run, with high energy forwards he looked a different player.

From what Ancelotti has said, they'll look to counter attack us knowing it worked well in the first leg and they have the goal advantage. Rudiger is fit to start, Haaland needs to leave absolutely everything on him first opportunity he has and send that fucker back to the treatment room.

Pep's taking the pressure off the team and piling it on Real Madrid. They're not in great form, but we know how they rise to the occasion in the CL.

We looked miles better on Saturday but this is a huge test.

Ultimately the footballing gods will work in our favour. We'll be 1-0 down in the 89th minute and equalise on the night before levelling the tie in the 93rd minute and winning it in the 96th as the Bernabeu sits in stunned silence.
Newcastle defended high up the pitch & it sounds from Anceloti that they will once again put men behind the ball to negate that space

Absolute nonsense. He simply cannot play three games a week. Once rested, he becomes a handful for any opposition. Also, he has an excellent record against Real Madrid, so expect at least 45 minutes tomorrow.
That excellent record was before Father Time got involved . Now just a passenger at this level .

They are sure to score a couple I think so imo we need to score 3 or 4 at least. Bizarrely, although unlikely, I do not rule this out if we play like we did on Saturday. They are still missing key defenders and if we click we could conceivably score 4. Should be an exciting game however it pans out.

So they have Alaba and Rudiger back in their squad for this going to be a graft to get anything out of this but I live in hope.

It's a bit unrelated, but where the heck is Bobb? He wasn't training with the team today. I hope this ankle doesn't turn into a career-altering injury.

I mentioned before that Goncalo Ramos broke his fibula the same week that Bobb did, and he's been back playing for almost two months now.

Unfortunately, I think he’ll go with experience.

I do as well, he will start KDB, more or less guaranteed to, and to a degree it makes sense, no point bringing him on for last 20/25 if we are still behind.

Give him an hour, if he ain't blowing out of his arse before then, and let's see if he can produce some magic, because if he can he will, we might get something to hold onto if he's on it.

It was a painful watch giving them the win last week, But would we have a better game plan going into this 2nd leg with a 2.1 win, Defending is not our strongest point and maybe going there with the knowledge that we have to win keeps Pep and City with our best chances

Look 100% they fear us and for me, it's Foden down the middle they fear the most, Them little pockets Phil can find and on the turn open's them right up, We need Phil Foden having that magic moment that we will all talk about for years and years, All the great players have a special moment in a game that puts the icing on the cake of a career

We have nothing to lose or to be embarrassed about, If you lose then it's to a very good team that may go on to win it again, But if we win Manchester City can build on something special that goes on to be the foundation of City winning the champions league 4 or 5 times in the next 10 years

I strangely dont see us losing. Outside of Pep seriously hampering the lineup. I see us winning the game. Maybe 2-1 3-1 or 4-1. We might lose on penalties. But we'll win the game

City really surprised me on the weekend and I once again feel like we can beat any team in the world again.

Hoping to beat Madrid but more just hoping we leave the game with no more injuries.

Next year the team will be scary. 100 pts in a season scary.

Unfortunately, I think he’ll go with experience.
This os the only way we lose the game. Hopefully, if he does the 'experience' thing, he only does it on defense.

Khusanov Dias AKe Gvardiol
...........Gonzo....Stones........

At least this way, he can say he didn't throw caution to the wind

This 7 should not change.
