Just found out, my mates just messaged me. Gutted! Huge Jam fan. His drumming was unbelievable. What a sad day for music. RIP Rick, an unbelievable drummer and top bloke :(

I always thought his drumming was better than any other punk/new wave band. I still remember hearing that Going Underground had gone straight in at #1 and exactly where I was at the time. Bands didn't do that back then. Certainly not 3 kids from Woking. RIP Rick.

His drumming on these 2 are off the scale. I'm a huge Wella fan, but without Foxton and Buckler you don't get one of the greatest bands of all time. There was no hiding place in a 3 man band. Absolute genius with them sticks.
