It's depressing so many yanks are so insular and ill-informed. I hope the UK and Europe presses on and continues to support Ukraine and opposes Russia.Ahead? I have to stifle the tears now!
Wondering who, how and when someone is going to stand up for the Constitution they all took an oath to uphold?!
The Republican head of the Armed Services Committee has a few choice words for Putin that will make the news tomorrow, so there’s a chance…slim though it may be with the spineless politicians in Washington, too!
I hope Congress comes to its senses and doesn’t simply act as a rubber stamp on Trump. It's depressing so many yanks are so insular and ill-informed. I hope the UK and Europe presses on and continues to support Ukraine and opposes Russia.
The pics look “bright!”In the night,Syzran Oil Refinery was hit.
A good hit too.
Slava Ukraini.
same **** on the left three years ago![]()
Look at em, laughing it up.
The US doing what the US does.Full scale treason by the US.
42% of Americans are in favour of supporting Ukraine..not sure if how many are undecided or 58% are not in favour.
The UK and Europe need to be prepared to call Trumps bluff. Russia really is small fry when it comes to trade and partnerships. He needs to be publicly reminded of that ASAP. The USs trade with Russia is tiny compared to that with the UK and the EU. The UKs trade with the US alone was over 10 times that of Russias prior to sanctions.I hope Congress comes to its senses and doesn’t simply act as a rubber stamp on Trump.
The sad part is that I think Putin will play the long game, doing whatever he needs to do with his friendly faced lap dog in DC, in order to lay the table for the future, which may not be his. He’s no spring chicken himself.
My concern is that post U.S. appeasement of Russia’s aggression, Trump insists on a reintroduction of Russia into the G7/8, Europe et al capitulates, then NATO is left wondering where they stand with Article 5 and the Baltics, and sit around waiting for the next shoe to drop!
Europe would do well to organize itself for a post-U.S. NATO, because as CinC, Trump holds virtually all the U.S. cards in that area…and while Hegseth is a fawning puppy dog, Gabbard might be just the person to keep them both happy…Trump & Putin!!!
You’re assuming Trump is seeing this from a broad perspective. I think he has set his mind on a specific agenda, with specific financial and economic goals, mostly revolving around mineral resources, including gas and oil.The UK and Europe need to be prepared to call Trumps bluff. Russia really is small fry when it comes to trade and partnerships. He needs to be publicly reminded of that ASAP. The USs trade with Russia is tiny compared to that with the UK and the EU. Putin thinks he's some kind of global leader that has significant influence, but in reality he's just a murderous dictator of a small time shitty backward country who happens to have inherited a nuclear capability.
Did you read Lavrov’s remarks today? So Ukraine started the war, I knew it thanks Mr Trump I now know you really are a complete and utter ****, Europe needs to fuck USA off right now, he’s in Putins pocket, they must be pissing themselves in Moscow.
Again that is out of context. Starmer has said he would commit troops "after" a peace agreement, not during your quote of a "hot war". So the last quote is about right now etc."German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock echoed Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Tuesday in calling the current debate about possible European peacekeeping troops in Ukraine premature.
"No soldiers will be sent into this hot war," Baerbock told public broadcaster ZDF."
He's didn't mention surrender, just negotiate. In general that's how most conflicts are resolved.Perhaps America should have surrounded when Japan bombed Pearl Harbour....
OK then, perhaps America should have negotiated with Japan about how much of their country they wanted to give away without a fight. He's didn't mention surrender, just negotiate. In general that's how most conflicts are resolved.
