This is shaping up to be an embarrassing exit from the Champions League. Up there with Monaco.

much worse, that was a tie in last 16 and only lost out on away goals.

this is not even last 16 and we are very far away from going out on an overall draw in the tie. stronger opponent of course but its because the Sporting, Feyenoord, Juventus results.

Pep never had a season not reaching last 16 of CL in his career.I think only the Monaco tie was the only season also he didnt reach QF of CL at least.

Why. Unless we have a huge clear out, get better coaching staff in,a new number 2 who can tell Pep when he is wrong, it will be the same crazy high line, brittle and unfit players.

They - like lots on here - seem to accept that this tie's already won. They don't seem upset if they waste an opportunity.

If we can just get one back - a complacent mindset can be difficult to switch back into game mode. Like we found, against Feyenoord.
